Notifedia.com, Makassar — Tim Resmob Direktorat Reserse Kriminal Umum (Ditreskrimum) Polda Sulawesi Selatan mengungkap praktik aborsi ilegal yang dilakukan secara diam-diam oleh seorang Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN) dari salah satu Puskesmas di Kota Makassar. Pria berinisial SA (44) itu ditangkap pada Minggu malam (25/5) di sebuah penginapan di Jalan Urip Sumoharjo, Kecamatan Panakkukang.
Dalam operasi penangkapan tersebut, polisi turut mengamankan dua perempuan lainnya berinisial RA dan CI (23) di dua lokasi berbeda di Makassar. Berdasarkan hasil pemeriksaan, perempuan berinisial CI diketahui merupakan mahasiswi program magister (S2) di salah satu universitas negeri di kota ini.
CI diketahui telah menggunakan jasa aborsi ilegal tersebut untuk menggugurkan kandungannya yang baru berusia satu bulan. Aksi aborsi itu dilakukan setelah ia dikenalkan oleh rekannya, RA, kepada pelaku SA.
Panit 1 Resmob Ditreskrimum Polda Sulsel, IPDA Dendi Eriyan, menjelaskan bahwa pelaku SA telah beberapa kali melakukan praktik aborsi di sejumlah hotel di Makassar dengan tarif bervariasi.
“Telah kami amankan tiga terduga pelaku, yakni SA yang merupakan ASN dari Puskesmas, CI mahasiswi S2, dan RA yang mengenalkan keduanya. SA melakukan praktik aborsi dengan mendatangi pelanggan di hotel, dan mematok tarif antara Rp2,5 juta hingga Rp5 juta untuk sekali tindakan,” ujar IPDA Dendi.
Saat ini, ketiga terduga pelaku masih menjalani pemeriksaan intensif oleh aparat kepolisian. Kasus ini masih dalam tahap pengembangan guna mengungkap kemungkinan adanya jaringan yang lebih luas dalam praktik aborsi ilegal di Kota Makassar.
Polda Sulsel menegaskan akan terus menindak tegas segala bentuk praktik medis ilegal yang membahayakan keselamatan jiwa dan melanggar hukum.
