Parepare – Dinas Kepemudaan Olahraga dan Pariwisata menyelenggarakan Kejuaraan Pencak Silat Piala Kemenpora 2024 di GOR Gelora Mandiri, Kota Parepare. Acara ini dihadiri oleh sekitar 500 peserta yang datang dari berbagai daerah di Indonesia. Jum,at (5/7/24).
Kejuaraan ini dihadiri oleh sejumlah pejabat penting. Pj Wali Kota Parepare, Akbar Ali, hadir dan sekaligus membuka acara tersebut. Selain itu, turut hadir pula Danbrigif 11/BS, Danyon Detasemen B Brimob, perwakilan dari Kapolres, perwakilan dari Dandim, perwakilan dari Kejaksaan, dan perwakilan dari Pengadilan Negeri Kota Parepare.
Dalam sambutannya, Akbar Ali menyampaikan apresiasinya terhadap semangat para peserta dan berharap kejuaraan ini dapat menjadi ajang untuk melahirkan atlet-atlet pencak silat berbakat yang bisa mengharumkan nama Indonesia di kancah internasional.
“Kami sangat bangga dengan antusiasme yang ditunjukkan oleh para peserta. Semoga melalui kejuaraan ini, kita bisa menemukan bibit-bibit unggul yang akan membawa nama baik Indonesia di masa depan,” ujar Akbar Ali.
Kejuaraan Pencak Silat Piala Kemenpora 2024 ini tidak hanya menjadi ajang kompetisi, tetapi juga sebagai sarana untuk mempererat tali persaudaraan antar pesilat dari berbagai daerah.
Diharapkan kejuaraan ini dapat berjalan lancar dan menghasilkan juara-juara baru yang berprestasi.
Dengan semangat sportifitas dan kebersamaan, acara ini diharapkan dapat menjadi momentum penting dalam upaya memajukan olahraga pencak silat di Indonesia.
