Notifedia.com, Parepare — Setelah sempat diskorsing tanpa batas waktu, Forum Musyawarah Daerah (Musda) ke-XVI Komite Nasional Pemuda Indonesia (KNPI) Kota Parepare akhirnya kembali dilanjutkan.
Pelaksanaan forum ini menandai babak baru dalam dinamika organisasi kepemudaan tersebut, di bawah koordinasi langsung Dewan Pengurus Daerah (DPD) KNPI Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan.
Forum Musda yang sempat tertunda tersebut kini resmi dibuka oleh Koordinator Steering Committee (SC), Naim Farid, pada Sabtu, 18 Oktober 2025, bertempat di Ballroom Logota Café, Kota Parepare.
Pembukaan ini menjadi tindak lanjut dari keputusan DPD KNPI Provinsi Sulsel yang sebelumnya mengambil alih kebijakan Musda Parepare dan menunjuk Pelaksana Tugas (PLt) DPD KNPI Kota Parepare, sekaligus membentuk kepanitiaan Organizing Committee (OC) dan Steering Committee (SC) guna melanjutkan forum Musda yang sempat terhenti.
Dalam sambutannya, Koordinator Steering Naim Farid menegaskan bahwa pelaksanaan Musda XVI KNPI Parepare ini merupakan momentum penting untuk mengembalikan marwah organisasi dan memastikan proses demokratis berjalan sebagaimana mestinya.
“Kami membuka forum ini dengan semangat kebersamaan dan tanggung jawab, agar Musda XVI benar-benar menjadi wadah demokrasi pemuda Parepare yang konstitusional dan bermartabat,” ujar Naim Farid.
Musda XVI KNPI Parepare ini diharapkan menjadi ajang konsolidasi seluruh unsur pemuda di Kota Parepare, sekaligus menentukan arah dan kepemimpinan baru KNPI di tingkat daerah.
Pelaksanaan forum berlangsung dengan tertib dan dihadiri oleh peserta Musda dari berbagai Dewan Pengurus Kecamatan (DPK) serta OKP dan Undangan dari unsur kepemudaan lainnya.
