Notifedia.com, PAREPARE -Ketua Tim Penggerak PKK Kota Parepare, dr. Andi Arfiah Tasming, menyalurkan bantuan asupan nutrisi kepada balita stunting di Kelurahan Lemoe, Kecamatan Bacukiki, Senin, 19 Mei 2025.
Penyerahan bantuan dilakukan setelah kegiatan silaturahmi bersama seluruh pengurus PKK tingkat kecamatan dan kelurahan di Baruga Peduli, Kelurahan Lemoe. Dalam kegiatan itu, dr. Andi Arfiah Tasming turut didampingi oleh jajaran pengurus PKK Kota Parepare.
Menurut dr. Arfiah, penanganan stunting menjadi salah satu fokus utama Tim Penggerak PKK, sejalan dengan program pemerintah untuk menurunkan angka stunting di daerah.
“Ini adalah bagian dari komitmen kami dalam mendukung upaya pencegahan dan penanganan stunting. Kami berharap bantuan ini bisa membantu pemenuhan kebutuhan gizi anak-anak yang masuk dalam kategori stunting,” ujar dr. Arfiah.
Ia menegaskan, kegiatan serupa akan terus berlanjut dan menjadi agenda rutin PKK sebagai bentuk kepedulian terhadap tumbuh kembang anak-anak di Parepare.
“Kegiatan ini tidak berhenti sampai di sini. Kami akan terus bergerak dari satu kelurahan ke kelurahan lainnya, menyasar anak-anak yang membutuhkan intervensi gizi, sekaligus mengedukasi para orang tua tentang pentingnya pola asuh dan pemenuhan gizi seimbang,” jelas dr. Arfiah.
Sebagai informasi, Tim Penggerak PKK Kota Parepare aktif menjalankan berbagai program sosial dan kesehatan, termasuk upaya percepatan penurunan stunting, yang menjadi bagian dari prioritas pembangunan sumber daya manusia di bawah kepemimpinan Wali Kota Parepare, Tasming Hamid.
