Notifedia.com, Makassar – Insiden penyerangan kembali terjadi di lingkungan pendidikan tinggi di Kota Makassar. Sekelompok orang yang diduga merupakan oknum anggota Ikatan Pelajar Mahasiswa Indonesia Luwu (IPMIL) Raya Universitas Muslim Indonesia (UMI) melakukan penyerangan ke dalam area Kampus UMI, Selasa (4/11/2025) malam.
Dalam peristiwa tersebut, satu orang menjadi korban terkena anak panah. Ironisnya, korban diketahui juga merupakan kader IPMIL Raya UMI sendiri. Korban segera dilarikan ke rumah sakit terdekat untuk mendapatkan perawatan medis.
Menurut keterangan sejumlah saksi, penyerangan terjadi secara tiba-tiba dan sempat menimbulkan kepanikan di sekitar kampus. Beberapa mahasiswa yang masih beraktivitas di malam hari langsung berhamburan menyelamatkan diri.
“Kami kaget karena tiba-tiba ada keributan dan suara letupan. Tidak lama kemudian ada yang teriak ada korban kena panah,” ujar salah satu mahasiswa yang berada di lokasi kejadian.
Aksi tersebut mendapat kecaman luas dari berbagai pihak. Banyak yang menilai tindakan anarkis di lingkungan kampus tidak mencerminkan semangat intelektual dan nilai organisasi kemahasiswaan.
“Sangat disayangkan, apalagi korbannya adalah sesama kader. Ini menunjukkan lemahnya kontrol dan pemahaman berorganisasi yang sehat,” ujar salah satu mahasiswa UMI yang enggan disebutkan namanya.
Diketahui, insiden ini bukan kali pertama melibatkan nama IPMIL Raya UMI. Beberapa bulan sebelumnya, kelompok yang sama juga sempat viral karena terlibat dalam penyerangan di sejumlah titik di Makassar, yang menyebabkan beberapa korban luka.
Pihak kepolisian kini tengah melakukan penyelidikan untuk mengungkap motif serta pihak-pihak yang terlibat dalam peristiwa penyerangan tersebut.
“Kami sudah mengumpulkan beberapa keterangan saksi. Penyelidikan sementara masih berlangsung untuk memastikan siapa pelaku dan pemicu kejadian ini,” ujar salah satu petugas kepolisian saat dikonfirmasi.
Hingga Rabu (5/11/2025) siang, situasi di sekitar Kampus UMI Makassar dilaporkan telah berangsur kondusif. Aparat keamanan masih disiagakan guna mengantisipasi potensi bentrokan susulan.
