Notifedia.com, Parepare — Program makan bergizi gratis yang telah lama dinanti akhirnya resmi diluncurkan di Kota Parepare. Sebanyak 11 sekolah menjadi sasaran pada tahap awal operasional yang dimulai esok hari, Kamis (12/6/25). Program ini diinisiasi sebagai bagian dari upaya peningkatan gizi dan kesehatan anak usia sekolah di wilayah Kota Parepare.
Kepala Dinas Pendidikan Kota Parepare, Makmur, menyampaikan bahwa program ini akan dimulai sejak pagi untuk menghindari keterlambatan distribusi, meskipun jadwal penyajian tetap menyesuaikan waktu istirahat siswa. Rabu, (11/6/25)
“Insya Allah besok itu ada 11 sekolah yang akan menjadi penerima atau sasaran dari program makan bergizi gratis ini. Untuk TK ada 2 sekolah, yakni TK Pertiwi dan TK Iskandar. Untuk SD ada 5: SD 39, SD 28, SD 50, SD 79 dan SD 35. Kemudian untuk SMP ada 2, yaitu SMP 3 dan SMP 5, untuk SMA/SMK yaitu SMK 1 dan Man 2 Kota Parepare.
Ia menambahkan bahwa meski Kota Parepare termasuk cukup terlambat memulai dibanding daerah lain, hal tersebut bukan disebabkan kurangnya respons dari pemangku kepentingan.
“Justru hadirnya program ini adalah hasil kolaborasi bersama antara Dinas Pendidikan, Dinas Kesehatan, SPPI dari BGN, dan mitra. Kita bersyukur berkat kerja sama ini program akhirnya bisa diluncurkan,” ujar Makmur.
Sementara itu, Kepala Unit Pelayanan Pemenuhan Gizi, Ananda Tasya, S.Gz., menyatakan bahwa untuk tahap awal ini program akan melayani sekitar 2.245 siswa dari 11 sekolah tersebut.
“Paket makanan yang diberikan telah dirancang oleh ahli gizi sesuai kebutuhan harian anak-anak. Kami juga mengerahkan 47 relawan dari wilayah sekitar atau tetangga dari dapur umum untuk mendukung operasional harian,” jelasnya.
Dalam pelaksanaannya, program ini menggandeng Yayasan Berkah Ininnawa Nusantara sebagai mitra pelaksana. Salman, selaku perwakilan yayasan, turut membantu koordinasi di lapangan. Untuk pasokan bahan pangan, program ini masih mengandalkan supplier lokal dan memberdayakan UMKM sekitar.
“Koperasi memang belum kami libatkan dalam tahap awal ini, tetapi ke depan kami berharap bisa mengarah ke sana,” tambah Ananda Tasya.
Program makan bergizi gratis ini diharapkan tidak hanya meningkatkan kualitas kesehatan dan konsentrasi belajar siswa, tetapi juga menjadi model keberhasilan sinergi antarlembaga dan masyarakat dalam menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang sehat dan inklusif.
