Notifedia.com, PAREPARE – Pemerintah Kota Parepare melalui Badan Perencanaan Pembangunan Daerah (Bappeda) menggelar Forum Konsultasi Publik dalam rangka penyusunan Kajian Lingkungan Hidup Strategis (KLHS) untuk Rencana Pembangunan Jangka Menengah Daerah (RPJMD) tahun 2025–2029.
Kegiatan yang berlangsung pada Selasa, 7 Januari 2025 di Ruang Rapat Bappeda Parepare ini turut menghadirkan tenaga ahli dari Dinas Lingkungan Hidup (DLH) Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan, Sri Hidayat, SP, MSP, yang memberikan pandangan teknis terhadap urgensi integrasi aspek lingkungan ke dalam perencanaan pembangunan daerah.
Dalam pemaparannya, Dede A Wakkang dari Bappeda Parepare menjelaskan bahwa forum ini merupakan salah satu dari 11 tahapan penting dalam penyusunan KLHS RPJMD. Dokumen KLHS, kata Dede, menjadi komponen krusial yang wajib dilampirkan dalam RPJMD, sesuai dengan ketentuan regulasi nasional.
“KLHS RPJMD merupakan alat bantu yang digunakan untuk mengintegrasikan Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (TPB) ke dalam RPJMD. Atau simpelnya, dokumen ini merupakan bahan baku dalam penyusunan RPJMD yang diharapkan dapat memperkaya muatan substansi RPJMD itu sendiri,” ungkap Dede.
Pelaksanaan forum ini juga mempertegas komitmen Pemerintah Kota Parepare dalam mendorong pembangunan berkelanjutan yang berpihak pada lingkungan hidup. KLHS sendiri menjadi bentuk antisipasi dini terhadap potensi dampak lingkungan dari kebijakan dan program pembangunan jangka menengah daerah.
Kegiatan ini mengacu pada dasar hukum yang kuat, yakni Undang-Undang Nomor 32 Tahun 2009 tentang Perlindungan dan Pengelolaan Lingkungan Hidup, serta Peraturan Menteri Dalam Negeri Nomor 7 Tahun 2018 mengenai Pelaksanaan KLHS dalam Penyusunan RPJMD.
Melalui forum ini, diharapkan aspirasi dan masukan dari berbagai pemangku kepentingan dapat memperkuat kualitas dokumen KLHS, yang nantinya menjadi dasar pijakan dalam menyusun RPJMD Parepare 2025–2029 secara lebih inklusif, partisipatif, dan berwawasan lingkungan.
