Parepare – Pemerintah Kota (Pemkot) Parepare melalui Tim Pengendali Inflasi Daerah (TPID) bergerak cepat untuk memastikan tidak terjadi gejolak harga barang kebutuhan pokok menjelang Hari Raya Idul Adha 1445 Hijriah.
Upaya ini dilakukan dengan melakukan pemantauan langsung di beberapa pasar tradisional, termasuk Pasar Rakyat Lakessi, pada hari Jumat (14/6/2024).
Pemantauan tersebut dipimpin langsung oleh Sekretaris Daerah Kota Parepare, Muh Husni Syam, yang juga menjabat sebagai Ketua TPID Parepare.
Beliau didampingi oleh para anggota TPID, seperti Staf Ahli Noldy Yosep Rengkuan, Asisten II Andi Ardian Asyraq, Kepala Dinas Perdagangan Andi Wisnah T, Kepala Dinas Ketahanan Pangan Muh Idris, Kepala Dinas Perkimtan Abd Latif, Kepala Badan Kesbangpol Rustan Asta, Kabag Perekonomian Rudy M, serta beberapa pejabat terkait lainnya.
Sekda Husni Syam menyampaikan bahwa pemantauan ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui perkembangan harga dan ketersediaan barang kebutuhan pokok di pasar menjelang Hari Raya Idul Adha yang akan jatuh pada hari Senin (17/6/2024).
“Langkah ini diambil untuk memastikan harga kebutuhan pokok tetap stabil dan terjangkau oleh masyarakat, sehingga tidak terjadi kenaikan yang signifikan yang dapat memberatkan masyarakat menjelang hari raya,” ujarnya di sela-sela kegiatan pemantauan.
Pemkot Parepare berharap, dengan adanya pemantauan ini, masyarakat dapat merasa tenang dan tidak khawatir dengan ketersediaan serta harga barang kebutuhan pokok selama periode Idul Adha.
Tim TPID akan terus memantau dan mengambil langkah-langkah yang diperlukan untuk menjaga stabilitas harga di pasar.
