Notifedia.com, Parepare – Pemerintah Kota Parepare menunjukkan komitmennya dalam mendukung program Makanan Bergizi Gratis (MBG) atau dikenal juga dengan BGN (Bantuan Gizi Nasional), dengan menyiapkan empat lokasi strategis untuk pembangunan dapur sehat.
Hal tersebut diungkapkan langsung oleh Kepala Dinas Pendidikan Parepare, Makmur, setelah menjadi narasumber pendamping pada reses Anggota DPRD. Sabtu, (24/5/25).
Makmur menjelaskan bahwa saat ini Parepare menjadi salah satu dari tiga kabupaten/kota di Sulawesi Selatan yang belum memiliki dapur MBG yang beroperasi. Dua daerah lainnya adalah Enrekang dan Bone. Untuk itu, pihaknya terus melakukan percepatan agar program ini segera berjalan di Parepare.
“Kami sudah menyiapkan empat titik lokasi, padahal yang diminta hanya tiga. Ini bentuk kesiapan kami agar program MBG bisa segera direalisasikan di kota ini,” ungkap Makmur.
Empat lokasi yang dimaksud meliputi:
1. Perumahan PGRI – Tepat di belakang kantor TV Peduli.
2. Samping KPU – Lahan yang berbentuk huruf L dan berbatasan langsung dengan TK Pembina.
3. Area Uji Kendaraan – Di wilayah perbatasan kota, sisi kiri dari arah pusat kota.
4. Samping Jompie – Tepatnya di sudut atas, lokasi yang cukup representatif.
Makmur juga menambahkan bahwa saat ini sudah ada satu mitra swasta yang mengantongi Surat Keputusan (SK) dan telah dinyatakan siap untuk beroperasi. Dapur tersebut dikelola oleh Bapak Muhammad Nur, yang sebelumnya dikenal sebagai pengelola usaha rumput laut di kawasan.
“Saya sudah turun langsung survei ke lokasi. Bangunannya, tempat memasak, dan tempat mencuci peralatan sudah lengkap dan siap pakai. Sekarang tinggal menunggu pencairan dana dari BGN untuk segera beroperasi,” jelasnya.
Program MBG ini, lanjut Makmur, dijalankan melalui jalur kemitraan di mana pihak swasta bisa mendaftar melalui aplikasi resmi MBG. Setelah lolos verifikasi dan mendapatkan SK, mereka bisa mulai menjalankan dapur bergizi yang akan menyalurkan makanan sehat bagi anak-anak sekolah dan kelompok rentan.
Pemerintah Kota Parepare berharap dukungan penuh dari semua pihak agar pelaksanaan MBG di Parepare dapat segera dimulai. Keberadaan dapur sehat ini diyakini akan meningkatkan kualitas gizi dan kesehatan anak-anak di wilayah tersebut.
“Ini bukan sekadar dapur makan gratis, tapi program strategis untuk menyiapkan generasi sehat dan cerdas,” tutup Makmur.
