Parepare – Dalam rangka memperingati Hari Amal Bakti (HAB) 2025, Pemerintah Kota Parepare turut menghadiri pelaksanaan Jalan Santai Kerukunan Antar Agama yang digelar oleh Kantor Kementerian Agama di Lapangan Andi Makkasau, Parepare, pada Jumat (31/1/2025).
Kegiatan yang mengusung tema “Tingkatkan Harmonisasi Antar Umat Beragama” ini bertujuan untuk mempererat tali persaudaraan serta menjaga kerukunan antar umat beragama di Kota Parepare.
Acara ini diikuti oleh berbagai elemen masyarakat, termasuk tokoh agama, organisasi keagamaan, pelajar, serta perwakilan dari instansi pemerintah dan swasta.
Dede Hariustaman, Asisten I Bidang Pemerintahan yang mewakili Pj Wali Kota Parepare, dalam sambutannya menekankan pentingnya menjaga kerukunan antar umat beragama sebagai fondasi utama dalam membangun kota yang damai dan harmonis.
“Kerukunan antar umat beragama di Parepare terjaga dengan baik, karena warga saling menghormati dan menghargai tanpa memandang perbedaan agama. Inilah salah satu kekuatan kita sebagai masyarakat Parepare yang damai dan toleran,” ujar Dede Hariustaman.
Jalan Santai Kerukunan ini berlangsung meriah dengan rute yang melewati sejumlah titik strategis di Kota Parepare. Peserta mengenakan atribut khas komunitas masing-masing sebagai simbol keberagaman yang harmonis.
Selain itu, panitia juga menyediakan berbagai doorprize untuk menambah semarak kegiatan.
Kepala Kantor Kementerian Agama Parepare menyampaikan apresiasi kepada seluruh peserta yang telah berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan ini. Menurutnya, melalui kegiatan seperti ini, diharapkan nilai-nilai kebersamaan dan toleransi semakin kuat di tengah masyarakat.
Peringatan HAB 2025 di Parepare tidak hanya diisi dengan jalan santai, tetapi juga berbagai kegiatan sosial dan keagamaan lainnya, seperti bakti sosial, doa bersama, serta seminar kebangsaan yang bertujuan memperkokoh rasa persatuan dan kesatuan bangsa.
Dengan adanya kegiatan ini, diharapkan semangat kebersamaan dan kerukunan antar umat beragama di Parepare semakin kokoh, sehingga dapat menjadi contoh bagi daerah lain dalam membangun harmoni sosial yang berkelanjutan.
