MAKASSAR — Wakil Wali Kota Parepare, Hermanto, mewakili Wali Kota Parepare, Tasming Hamid, menghadiri kegiatan penyerahan Laporan Keuangan Pemerintah Daerah (LKPD) Tahun Anggaran 2024 (Unaudited) di Kantor Badan Pemeriksa Keuangan (BPK) Perwakilan Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan, Selasa (8/4/2025).
Penyerahan LKPD ini merupakan kewajiban tahunan pemerintah daerah sebagai bentuk pertanggungjawaban dalam pengelolaan keuangan daerah, sekaligus memenuhi prinsip transparansi dan akuntabilitas sesuai dengan peraturan perundang-undangan.
Dalam kesempatan itu, Wakil Wali Kota Parepare, Hermanto, menyampaikan bahwa penyusunan dan penyampaian LKPD menjadi komitmen Pemerintah Kota Parepare untuk terus mewujudkan tata kelola keuangan yang baik.
“Kami berkomitmen untuk menyajikan laporan keuangan daerah secara transparan, akuntabel, dan sesuai ketentuan peraturan yang berlaku. Ini adalah bentuk tanggung jawab kami dalam pengelolaan keuangan daerah,” ujar Hermanto.
Ia juga berharap penyerahan LKPD ini menjadi momentum untuk melakukan evaluasi dan perbaikan dalam pengelolaan keuangan daerah ke depan, guna meningkatkan kinerja pemerintahan dan pelayanan kepada masyarakat.
“Semoga hasil pemeriksaan nantinya dapat menjadi bahan evaluasi bagi kami untuk terus memperbaiki sistem pengelolaan keuangan, demi mewujudkan pemerintahan yang lebih baik, bersih, dan berintegritas,” tambahnya.
Penyerahan LKPD Tahun Anggaran 2024 (Unaudited) ini menjadi langkah awal bagi BPK dalam melakukan pemeriksaan rinci sebelum memberikan opini atas laporan keuangan Pemerintah Kota Parepare.
