PAREPARE – Pemerintah Kota Parepare melalui Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang (PUPR) terus mengoptimalkan pemeliharaan infrastruktur jalan guna meningkatkan kenyamanan dan keselamatan pengguna jalan. Pada tahun anggaran 2025, total anggaran yang dialokasikan untuk pemeliharaan rutin jalan mencapai Rp581 juta.
Hingga saat ini, beberapa pekerjaan telah diselesaikan dengan total anggaran yang telah terserap sebesar Rp225 juta. Beberapa proyek pemeliharaan yang telah rampung meliputi:
- Perbaikan Talud & Bahu Jalan yang mengalami amblas di Jl. Reformasi depan Aspol 3, dengan anggaran Rp25 juta.
- Perbaikan Jalan Beton yang berlubang di Jl. Mattalie, tepatnya di depan permandian Lumpue, dengan anggaran Rp10 juta.
- Rehabilitasi Jalan Agussalim, berupa pengaspalan secara menyeluruh (antero), dengan anggaran Rp140 juta.
- Penambalan Lubang di beberapa ruas jalan utama, seperti Jl. Jenderal Sudirman, Jl. Mattirotasi, Jl. Ganggawa, Jl. Andi Cammi, Jl. Guru M. Amin/Samparaja, Jl. Lahalede, dan Jl. Panca Marga, dengan anggaran Rp50 juta.
Kepala Bidang Bina Marga Dinas PUPR Parepare, Widin Wijaya, mengatakan bahwa perbaikan ini dilakukan sebagai bagian dari pemeliharaan rutin untuk memastikan infrastruktur jalan tetap dalam kondisi baik.
“Total anggaran yang masih tersisa untuk pemeliharaan jalan di tahun ini mencapai Rp356 juta. Anggaran ini akan terus digunakan untuk merespons laporan masyarakat terkait kondisi jalan rusak,” ujar Widin, Selasa (25/03/2025).
Wali Kota Parepare, Tasming Hamid, menegaskan bahwa meskipun anggaran yang tersedia terbatas akibat kebijakan efisiensi, Pemkot Parepare akan tetap berkomitmen memaksimalkan dana yang ada untuk kepentingan masyarakat.
“Kami memahami bahwa infrastruktur jalan yang baik adalah kebutuhan dasar masyarakat. Meski dengan anggaran terbatas akibat dampak efisiensi, kami akan memaksimalkan agar perbaikan jalan tetap berjalan optimal dan berdampak langsung bagi warga,” kata Tasming.
Ia juga mengajak masyarakat untuk aktif melaporkan kondisi jalan yang rusak agar penanganan dapat dilakukan lebih cepat dan tepat sasaran.
Dinas PUPR Parepare juga mengimbau para pengendara untuk lebih berhati-hati saat melintas di lokasi perbaikan hingga proses pemeliharaan selesai sepenuhnya. Dengan adanya berbagai upaya perbaikan ini, diharapkan akses masyarakat semakin lancar dan aman.
