    Api Lahap Empat Rumah, Dua Rumah Ludes di Jalan Reformasi

    Notifedia.com, Parepare – Kebakaran hebat melanda pemukiman warga di Jalan Reformasi, Kelurahan Tiro Sompe, Kota Parepare, Rabu (1/10/2025).

    Sebanyak empat rumah terdampak dalam peristiwa ini, dua di antaranya hangus terbakar, sementara dua lainnya mengalami kerusakan akibat dampak api.

    Lurah Tiro Sompe, Suharto, yang turun langsung ke lokasi kejadian, membenarkan adanya empat rumah warga yang terdampak.

    “Iya, ada empat rumah. Dua terbakar habis, dua rumah lagi terkena dampaknya,” jelas Suharto.

    Beruntung, tidak ada korban jiwa dalam peristiwa tersebut. Warga yang berada di dalam rumah saat kejadian berhasil menyelamatkan diri.

    “Kebetulan pemilik rumah sempat turun menyelamatkan diri, jadi tidak ada korban jiwa,” tambah Suharto.

    Kepala Bidang Penanggulangan Kebakaran dan Penyelamatan Damkar Kota Parepare, Frans, menjelaskan pihaknya menurunkan sejumlah armada untuk memadamkan api.

    “Ada tiga unit mobil pemadam, empat unit mobil tangki, serta bantuan suplai air dari PDAM yang kita turunkan,” ungkap Frans.

    Tak hanya dari Damkar, upaya pemadaman juga dibantu pasukan SAR Sat Brimob Detasemen B Polda Sulsel yang menurunkan personel serta mengerahkan satu unit mobil Barakuda untuk membantu proses evakuasi dan pengamanan lokasi kebakaran.

    Kehadiran aparat Brimob membantu mempercepat penanganan situasi di lapangan.

    Tim damkar bersama aparat terkait masih melakukan proses pendinginan untuk memastikan api benar-benar padam.

    Penyebab pasti kebakaran masih dalam penyelidikan. Namun, dugaan sementara kebakaran dipicu oleh korsleting instalasi listrik.

    “Untuk penyebab pastinya, nanti menunggu hasil penyelidikan lebih lanjut,” tegas Frans.

    Peristiwa kebakaran ini menyita perhatian warga sekitar. Jalan Reformasi sempat dipadati oleh warga yang berusaha membantu serta menyaksikan proses pemadaman.
