Notifedia.com, Parepare – Keluhan soal sampah menjadi salah satu topik utama dalam agenda reses anggota DPRD Kota Parepare, Sappe, yang digelar di kawasan Tonrangeng, Kelurahan Lumpue, Sabtu (24/5/25).
Sappe, yang dikenal sebagai anak nelayan yang kini duduk sebagai wakil rakyat, memperlihatkan kepedulian tinggi terhadap aspirasi masyarakat di daerah pemilihannya. Dalam pertemuan tersebut, sejumlah warga menyampaikan keresahan mereka terkait persoalan sampah yang belum tertangani secara maksimal.
Menanggapi hal itu, Sappe langsung bergerak cepat. Ia segera menghubungi Kepala Dinas Lingkungan Hidup (DLH) Kota Parepare untuk menyampaikan keluhan warga. Respons cepat dari Kadis DLH pun disambut baik oleh masyarakat yang hadir.
“Alhamdulillah, saat warga menyampaikan keluhan tentang sampah, Kadis DLH langsung merespons. Tentu kami sangat berterima kasih atas tanggapan cepat itu. Reses kali ini membuat kami makin yakin, bahwa suara rakyat tidak sia-sia,” ujar Sappe.
Warga yang hadir juga menyampaikan apresiasi atas kinerja Sappe sebagai anggota dewan. Mereka merasa didengar dan dihargai oleh wakilnya di parlemen.
Dengan semangat kebersamaan, Sappe menegaskan komitmennya untuk terus mengawal setiap aspirasi masyarakat, terutama menyangkut persoalan lingkungan yang bersentuhan langsung dengan kehidupan sehari-hari.
