    DPRD Parepare Ajukan Hak Interpelasi, Tegaskan Sebagai Bentuk Pengawasan

    Notifedia.com, PAREPARE — Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah (DPRD) Kota Parepare resmi menggulirkan hak interpelasi terhadap Wali Kota Parepare.

    Langkah politik ini menjadi bagian dari dinamika penyelenggaraan pemerintahan daerah yang sehat antara legislatif dan eksekutif.

    Wakil Ketua DPRD Parepare, Muhammad Yusuf Lapanna, menegaskan bahwa pengajuan interpelasi bukan bentuk perlawanan terhadap pemerintah kota, melainkan pelaksanaan fungsi pengawasan DPRD sebagaimana diatur dalam peraturan perundang-undangan.

    “Interpelasi itu bagian dari hak DPRD. Ini bukan perlawanan, tapi bentuk pengawasan terhadap kebijakan Wali Kota yang perlu kami mintai penjelasan,” kata Yusuf saat dikonfirmasi, Kamis siang (30/10).

    Menurut Yusuf, sejumlah kebijakan pemerintah daerah menjadi perhatian DPRD karena dinilai perlu diklarifikasi lebih lanjut agar tidak menimbulkan kesalahpahaman publik.

    Ia mencontohkan beberapa di antaranya terkait dengan pengangkatan dewan pengawas, mutasi pejabat, hingga pengelolaan fasilitas umum.

    “Kami ingin mendengarkan langsung penjelasan Wali Kota mengenai beberapa hal yang menjadi pertanyaan di kalangan anggota dewan. Ini semata-mata demi keterbukaan dan sinergi antar lembaga,” ujarnya.

    Yusuf menambahkan, usulan interpelasi tersebut telah diserahkan secara resmi ke pimpinan DPRD dan selanjutnya akan dibahas dalam rapat Badan Musyawarah (Bamus) untuk menentukan jadwal paripurna.

    “Jika disetujui lebih dari separuh anggota DPRD, maka interpelasi berlanjut dan dibentuk panitia khusus (Pansus). Pansus nantinya akan menjadi forum resmi untuk mendengarkan penjelasan dari Wali Kota,” jelasnya.

    Ia berharap langkah ini dapat dipahami secara proporsional oleh seluruh pihak, termasuk pemerintah kota.

    “Kami berharap pemerintah daerah tidak menanggapi langkah ini secara berlebihan. Interpelasi adalah hak DPRD yang dijamin undang-undang. Tujuannya bukan untuk menghambat kinerja eksekutif, tapi justru untuk memperkuat akuntabilitas dan memperbaiki komunikasi antar lembaga,” pungkasnya.

    Sejumlah kalangan menilai, interpelasi ini menjadi momentum mempererat hubungan koordinasi antara DPRD dan Pemerintah Kota Parepare dalam menjalankan tata kelola pemerintahan yang transparan dan berlandaskan aturan.
