    Kapolres Parepare: Media Adalah Pilar Penting dalam Membangun Kepercayaan Publik

    Notifedia.com, Parepare – Kapolres Parepare, AKBP Indra Waspada Yudha mengharapkan Persatuan Wartawan Indonesia (PWI) Kota Parepare bersama Media lainnya mampu menjadi wadah yang membawa insan pers ke arah lebih baik

    Harapan itu disampaikan dalam ajang silaturahmi antara jajaran Polres Parepare dan Pengurus PWI serta media lainnya, yang berlangsung penuh keakraban di Rumah Kopi Sweetnes Kota Parepare. Kamis, (25/9/25).

    Ketua PWI, Fatahuddin menyampaikan optimisme bahwa di bawah kepemimpinan baru, seluruh program yang direncanakan dapat berjalan dengan lancar.

    “Semoga di bawah pimpinan saya, bisa membawa rekan-rekan PWI di Parepare menjadi lebih baik. Seluruh program yang direncanakan juga bisa terlaksana dengan baik,” ucapnya

    Kapolres Parepare, AKBP Indra Waspada Yudha mengapresiasi dukungan media yang selama ini telah membersamai kinerja kepolisian, khususnya dalam hal publikasi. Selama dua bulan terakhir kepemimpinannya, kolaborasi Polres dan insan media dinilai berjalan sangat baik.

    Ia menyebut, dukungan media sangat penting dalam menyebarkan informasi yang benar kepada masyarakat. “Kami tidak bisa berbuat banyak tanpa dukungan rekan-rekan media. Sinergi ini harus terus kita jaga, karena komunikasi dan koordinasi yang baik akan membawa manfaat bagi kita semua,” ujarnya.

    Dalam diskusi, sejumlah wartawan juga menyoroti tantangan pemberitaan di era digital, khususnya bagaimana agar berita-berita lokal bisa masuk dalam topik pencarian Google (top search). Menurut mereka, publikasi berita tidak cukup hanya disebar melalui tautan (link), namun juga perlu diperkuat dengan strategi berbagi konten dan pengelolaan kualitas berita.

    Indra Waspada Yudha menanggapi hal tersebut dengan membuka ruang kerjasama yang lebih luas. Kapolres menegaskan, ke depan pihaknya akan berupaya mengelola informasi dengan lebih humanis, tidak hanya menonjolkan pengungkapan kasus, tetapi juga kegiatan positif kepolisian yang dekat dengan masyarakat.

    “Kita ingin berita tidak hanya fokus pada kasus kriminal, tapi juga kegiatan yang humanis. Misalnya polisi yang membantu masyarakat, kegiatan sosial, atau profil anggota berprestasi. Itu akan semakin mendekatkan polisi dengan masyarakat,” jelas Kapolres

    Sebagai bentuk dukungan terhadap jurnalis, Kapolres juga mengungkapkan rencana renovasi gedung Polres Parepare tahun depan. Nantinya, akan disiapkan ruang media center yang lebih representatif untuk rekan-rekan Media.

    “Tahun depan, insya Allah akan ada renovasi gedung. Kami sudah pikirkan untuk menyiapkan ruang media center yang lebih luas dan nyaman, agar rekan-rekan media bisa bekerja dan bersilaturahmi di Polres,” katanya.

    Pertemuan ini ditutup dengan harapan agar komunikasi dan kolaborasi antara PWI, media, dan Polres Parepare semakin erat. Agenda-agenda ke depan, baik dari sisi kepolisian maupun kegiatan jurnalis, diyakini akan semakin padat dan membutuhkan dukungan bersama.

    “Yang paling penting adalah kita tetap menjaga sinergi, komunikasi, dan kolaborasi. Dengan begitu, media bisa terus memberi informasi berkualitas, dan Polres pun bisa lebih dekat dengan masyarakat,” pungkas salah satu peserta.
