Notifedia.com, Parepare – Warga dan pihak Kelurahan Lakessi, Kecamatan Soreang, menggelar kegiatan kerja bakti bersama pada Rabu pagi sebagai bentuk respons terhadap aduan masyarakat terkait penumpukan sampah di salah satu drainase wilayah Kelurahan Lakessi. Kamis, (10/4/24).
Kegiatan ini diinisiasi langsung oleh pihak kelurahan bersama warga setempat, dengan tujuan membersihkan saluran air yang tersumbat dan mencegah terjadinya banjir serta dampak lingkungan lainnya.
Kerja bakti ini melibatkan jajaran pejabat kelurahan beserta staf, Babinsa, Bhabinkamtibmas, serta masyarakat yang antusias ikut turun tangan membersihkan area yang terdampak.
Lurah Lakessi, Fadel, menyampaikan apresiasi dan rasa terima kasihnya kepada seluruh pihak yang telah berkontribusi dalam kegiatan ini.
“Saya berterima kasih kepada masyarakat yang telah ikut membantu pelaksanaan kerja bakti ini. Tak lupa juga kepada dinas terkait yang turut memberikan dukungan, seperti Dinas Lingkungan Hidup, Dinas Pemadam Kebakaran, serta BPBD yang sempat hadir mendampingi kegiatan hari ini,” ujar Fadel.
Ia juga menyampaikan harapannya agar kegiatan semacam ini dapat menjadi momentum meningkatkan kesadaran warga terhadap pentingnya menjaga kebersihan lingkungan.
“Kami berharap ke depan masyarakat bisa menjaga kebersihan minimal di sekitar rumah masing-masing. Kebersihan lingkungan adalah tanggung jawab kita bersama,” tambahnya.
Kegiatan ini menjadi bentuk sinergi antara pemerintah kelurahan dan masyarakat dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang bersih dan sehat bagi seluruh warga.
