Notifedia.com, PAREPARE — Pemerintah Kota (Pemkot) Parepare melalui Badan Perencanaan Pembangunan Daerah (Bappeda) menggelar Forum Konsultasi Publik untuk Kajian Lingkungan Hidup Strategis (KLHS) Rencana Pembangunan Jangka Menengah Daerah (RPJMD) 2025–2029.
Kegiatan tersebut berlangsung di Ruang Rapat Bappeda Parepare pada Selasa, 7 Januari 2025, dengan melibatkan tenaga ahli dari Dinas Lingkungan Hidup (DLH) Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan, yakni Sri Hidayat, SP, MSP.
Ketua penyelenggara forum, Dede A Wakkang, menjelaskan bahwa forum ini merupakan salah satu dari 11 tahapan dalam penyusunan KLHS RPJMD. Menurutnya, KLHS merupakan instrumen penting yang wajib dilampirkan dalam dokumen RPJMD sebagai bentuk integrasi Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (TPB).
“Dokumen KLHS ini bisa dikatakan sebagai bahan baku dalam penyusunan RPJMD, yang diharapkan memperkaya muatan dan arah kebijakan pembangunan daerah,” ujar Dede dalam paparannya.
Ia menambahkan, pelaksanaan forum ini didasarkan pada Undang-Undang Nomor 32 Tahun 2009 tentang Perlindungan dan Pengelolaan Lingkungan Hidup, serta Peraturan Menteri Dalam Negeri Nomor 7 Tahun 2018 tentang Pembuatan dan Pelaksanaan KLHS dalam Penyusunan RPJMD.
Dalam forum tersebut, para pemangku kepentingan lintas sektor turut menyampaikan pandangan serta masukan yang akan diakomodasi dalam perumusan RPJMD Kota Parepare ke depan, khususnya terkait isu-isu strategis lingkungan hidup.
Tenaga ahli DLH Sulsel, Sri Hidayat, menekankan pentingnya kesadaran lingkungan dalam setiap perencanaan pembangunan. Menurutnya, KLHS merupakan kerangka pikir dalam pengambilan keputusan pembangunan yang berkelanjutan.
“Perencanaan itu harus aware dengan lingkungan. Perencanaan sudah harus peduli dengan lingkungan sejak awal. KLHS ini adalah framework—cara berpikir untuk mengintegrasikan kepentingan lingkungan, sosial, dan ekonomi agar berada di jalur yang tepat,” tegas Sri.
Forum ini diharapkan menjadi wadah dialog terbuka bagi seluruh pemangku kepentingan, guna memastikan arah pembangunan Kota Parepare lima tahun ke depan tidak hanya fokus pada pertumbuhan ekonomi, tetapi juga mempertimbangkan keberlanjutan lingkungan dan kesejahteraan sosial.
