Notifedia, Parepare – Penjabat (Pj) Wali Kota Parepare, Akbar Ali, mendampingi Penjabat (Pj) Gubernur Sulawesi Selatan, Bahtiar Baharuddin, pada kegiatan penebaran benur Udang Vaname di lokasi tambak Mangimpuru Kota Parepare, Sabtu (17/2/2024).
Pada kesempatan tersebut, Pj Gubernur Sulsel, Bahtiar Baharuddin, menebar sebanyak 20.000 benur Udang Vaname.
Pj Gubernur Sulsel mengatakan bahwa kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan produksi tambak di Sulawesi Selatan, khususnya di Kota Parepare.
“Kita ingin meningkatkan produksi penambak Udang Vaname di Sulawesi Selatan, khususnya di Kota Parepare. Dengan menebar benur Udang, kita berharap dapat membantu meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat,” kata Bahtiar Baharuddin.
Pj Wali Kota Parepare, Akbar Ali, menyambut baik kegiatan ini dan mengatakan bahwa kegiatan ini sejalan dengan program Pemerintah Kota Parepare untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat.
“Kegiatan ini sejalan dengan program Pemerintah Kota Parepare untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Kami berharap dengan kegiatan ini, masyarakat di Kota Parepare dapat lebih sejahtera,” kata Akbar Ali.
Selain penebaran benur Udang Vaname, pada kesempatan tersebut juga dilakukan penyerahan bantuan kepada kelompok pembudidaya ikan dan udang di Kota Parepare. Bantuan yang diserahkan berupa bibit ikan, bibit Udang, pakan ikan dan pakan udang.
Kegiatan ini dihadiri oleh unsur Forkopimda Kota Parepare, Ketua PKK Provinsi Sulsel, Danbrig 11/BS serta para kepala dinas juga pimpinan kecamatan dan pimpinan kelurahan.
