Notifedia, Parepare – Polres Parepare menggelar konferensi pers yang bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi terkait pemusnahan barang bukti dari beberapa kasus yang berhasil diungkap oleh pihak kepolisian. Konferensi pers tersebut diadakan di halaman Mako Polres Parepare pada Rabu, (3/4/24).
Yang juga dihadiri oleh berbagai pihak yaitu, Perwakilan Pemkot Parepare oleh Kepala Kesbangpol, Perwakilan Dandim 1405, Perwakilan Danyon Brimob, Kepala Kejaksaan, Kepala Pengadilan, Jasa raharja serta rekan-rekan Media.
Dalam konferensi pers tersebut, AKBP Arman Muis selaku Kapolres Parepare menjelaskan bahwa pemusnahan barang bukti ini merupakan bagian dari upaya penegakan hukum terhadap tindak pidana narkoba, miras, balapan liar, dan penggunaan knalpot brong yang meresahkan masyarakat selama Januari – Maret 2024.
“Jadi ini hasil pengungkapan kasus yang merupakan kerja keras dari aparat kepolisian yang bekerja secara profesional untuk memberantas kejahatan di wilayah hukum Polres Parepare dari Bulan Januari hingga Maret 2024.”
Arman Muis menegaskan komitmen Polres Parepare untuk terus mengawal keamanan dan ketertiban masyarakat serta memberantas segala bentuk kejahatan yang mengganggu ketenteraman umum.
Pada kesempatan tersebut, dipamerkan dan pemusnaan sejumlah barang bukti yang berhasil diamankan oleh pihak kepolisian, termasuk Narkoba 3 Kg, minuman keras ilegal baik Bir dan Jenis Ballo, kendaraan yang digunakan dalam balapan liar, serta knalpot brong yang melanggar ketentuan.
Pemusnahan barang bukti dilakukan sebagai upaya untuk mencegah barang bukti tersebut kembali beredar di masyarakat dan mengurangi potensi kejahatan yang bisa terjadi.
Diharapkan dengan adanya konferensi pers ini, masyarakat semakin sadar akan pentingnya peran serta dalam memberantas kejahatan serta meningkatkan kerjasama dengan pihak kepolisian dalam menjaga keamanan dan ketertiban bersama.
