Notifedia.com, Parepare — Komandan Distrik Militer (Dandim) 1405/Parepare, Letkol Kav Soaduon Dody Dapot Simanjuntak, turut mendampingi Kapolres Parepare, AKBP Indra Waspada Yudha, saat mengawal longmarch mahasiswa di Kota Parepare, Senin (1/9/2025).
Longmarch ini digelar setelah mahasiswa melakukan aksi di depan Markas Komando (Mako) Polres Parepare. Para peserta yang merupakan gabungan mahasiswa dari berbagai kampus di Kota Parepare melanjutkan pergerakan menuju Lapangan Andi Makkasau, yang menjadi titik kumpul sekaligus lokasi selanjutnya sebelum ke Kantor DPRD Kota Parepare.
Dandim 1405/Parepare bersama Kapolres berjalan di barisan pengawalan untuk memastikan jalannya longmarch berlangsung tertib dan aman.
Kehadiran unsur TNI dan Polri secara bersamaan ini juga menjadi simbol sinergitas dalam menjaga ketertiban serta mengantisipasi potensi kericuhan di lapangan.
“Pengamanan ini merupakan bentuk tanggung jawab kami bersama, TNI dan Polri, untuk memastikan aspirasi adik-adik mahasiswa dapat tersampaikan dengan baik, tanpa mengganggu stabilitas keamanan di Parepare,” ujar Letkol Kav Soaduon Dody Dapot Simanjuntak.
Sementara itu, Kapolres Parepare AKBP Indra Waspada Yudha menyampaikan apresiasi kepada mahasiswa yang telah menyampaikan aspirasi dengan tertib. Ia juga menegaskan bahwa aparat keamanan tetap mengedepankan pendekatan persuasif selama pengawalan aksi.
Aksi longmarch mahasiswa dari depan Mako Polres ke Lapangan Andi Makkasau berlangsung kondusif dengan pengawalan aparat. Setelah tiba di lapangan, mahasiswa melanjutkan agenda untuk bersiap ke depan Kantor DPRD Kota Parepare.
Kehadiran Dandim 1405 Parepare bersama Kapolres dalam barisan pengamanan menegaskan komitmen TNI-Polri di daerah untuk selalu bersinergi menjaga stabilitas keamanan serta memberikan ruang demokrasi yang sehat bagi masyarakat, khususnya kalangan mahasiswa.
