Notifedia, Parepare – Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi (Kemendikbud RI) telah sukses melaksanakan Festival Tunas Bahasa Ibu (FTBI) sebagai bagian dari upaya Revitalisasi Bahasa Daerah.
FTBI yang diselenggarakan dalam rangkaian Webinar Silahturahmi Merdeka Belajar (SMB) menjadi wadah bagi pelajar untuk berbagi praktik dan menampilkan capaian belajar bahasa daerah melalui pertunjukan yang menarik. Kamis, (29/2/24).
FTBI menjadi sebuah platform yang memungkinkan pelajar dari berbagai daerah untuk berkolaborasi dan memperkenalkan kekayaan budaya linguistik yang dimiliki masing-masing.
Salah satu momen penting dalam acara tersebut adalah kehadiran Penjabat (Pj) Wali Kota Parepare, Akbar Ali, yang turut serta dalam Webinar SMB.
Akbar Ali juga diangkat sebagai salah satu narasumber dalam webinar tersebut, memberikan wawasan dan inspirasi kepada para peserta terkait pentingnya melestarikan dan memperkaya bahasa daerah.
Pj Wali Kota Parepare ini membawakan materi tentang “Praktik Baik Pemerintah Kota Parepare Dalam Pelestarian Bahasa Daerah”.
“Tema ini menurut saya sangat menarik dan penting untuk kita bahas dalam upaya menjaga eksistensi bahasa daerah khususnya di Sulawesi Selatan sebagai salah satu kekayaan bangsa.” Ujarnya.
Hari Bahasa Ibu Internasional yang digagas UNESCO dan diperingati setiap 21 Februari merupakan momentum penting dalam upaya memelihara dan mengembangkan bahasa daerah sebagai salah satu bahasa ibu di Nusantara.
“Pemakaian atau penuturan bahasa daerah sedikit banyaknya sudah ada yang berkurang karena dampak pengaruh kemajuan zaman, karena perkawinan antar etnis, maupun pengaruh bahasa daerah lainnya yang dominan digunakan di suatu daerah, dan berbagai sebab lainnya.” Lanjutnya.
Dengan adanya FTBI dan Webinar SMB, diharapkan semakin banyak generasi muda yang terinspirasi untuk mencintai dan melestarikan bahasa daerah mereka, serta berperan aktif dalam upaya menjaga keberagaman budaya Indonesia.
