Notifedia.com, Parepare – Suasana di kawasan Pintu masuk Pelabuhan Cappa Ujung, Kelurahan Ujung Sabbang, Kecamatan Ujung, Kota Parepare, memanas pada Jumat (20/6/2025) pagi.
Beberapa buruh pelabuhan bersama warga setempat menggelar aksi mogok kerja dan unjuk rasa. Mereka menuntut transparansi serta kejelasan soal hak-hak buruh yang dinilai tidak dipenuhi, khususnya terkait pemotongan upah dan realisasi hak papan kerja.
Dalam orasi yang disampaikan saat aksi, para buruh mengaku kecewa dan merasa diabaikan. “Kami kesini untuk meminta hak-hak kami sebagai buruh. Tidak ada kejelasan, tidak ada transparansi. Berapa potongannya pun kami tidak tahu. Kami merasa dipermainkan,” ungkap Saiful selaku orator pada aksi tersebut dengan nada geram.
Aksi ini merupakan buntut dari kekecewaan mereka terhadap upah yang tidak sesuai. Saiful menyebutkan, dari total nilai upah sebesar Rp24 juta, yang diterima hanya sekitar Rp11 juta. “Kemana sisanya? Yang lain hanya diam, hanya menunggu. Tidak ada pendampingan yang jelas,” tambahnya.
Sebelumnya, para buruh sudah diundang dalam Rapat Dengar Pendapat (RDP) di DPRD Kota Parepare. Namun menurut mereka, belum ada tindak lanjut konkret. sampai sekarang tidak ada kejelasan, jelasnya lagi.
Menanggapi aksi tersebut, Wakil Ketua DPRD Kota Parepare, Yusuf Lapanna, turun langsung menemui massa aksi. Ia menyatakan komitmennya untuk menindaklanjuti keluhan tersebut secara serius.
“Hari ini kita lihat langsung aspirasinya. DPR sudah menjadwalkan pemanggilan kedua belah pihak. Kami terbuka, dan saya pastikan akan memfasilitasi bapak-ibu semua di DPR. Kita akan duduk bersama, musyawarah, dan mencari titik temu,” tegas Yusuf.
Ia juga mengapresiasi jalannya aksi yang berlangsung damai. “Kami welcome dengan aspirasi masyarakat, karena ini bagian dari proses demokrasi. Yang penting, kita tempuh mekanisme yang benar,” tambahnya.
