    Polsek Soreang Ungkap Kasus Pembakaran Rumah, Pelaku Diduga Anak Korban Sendiri

    Notifedia.com, Parepare – Jajaran Polsek Soreang berhasil mengungkap kasus pembakaran rumah yang terjadi di wilayah hukumnya. Press release pengungkapan kasus tersebut digelar pada Senin (21/7/2025) sekitar pukul 14.30 WITA di Mapolsek Soreang.

    Press release dipimpin langsung oleh Wakapolres Parepare Kompol Saharuddin, S.H., M.Si., didampingi Kapolsek Soreang IPTU Amir Usman, S.E., dan Kanit Reskrim IPDA Hamka, S.H.

    Kejadian ini berawal dari laporan warga bernama Sri Suprimin (50), seorang ibu rumah tangga yang tinggal di Jalan Satelit, Kelurahan Bukit Indah, Kecamatan Soreang, Kota Parepare. Dalam laporannya, ia mengaku rumahnya dibakar oleh anak kandungnya sendiri yang berinisial AD (27), seorang buruh harian lepas.

    Peristiwa bermula pada tanggal 17 Juli 2025, ketika AD meminta uang kepada orang tuanya dengan alasan untuk ongkos ke Kota Palu guna menemui istri dan anaknya yang telah lama berpisah tempat tinggal dengannya. Namun permintaan tersebut ditolak karena orang tuanya tidak memiliki uang.

    Merasa kecewa, AD kembali meminta uang pada 19 Juli 2025. Penolakan kedua dari orang tua membuat AD marah dan mengancam akan membakar rumah.

    Tak berselang lama, AD diduga mengambil kardus dan beberapa lembar kain, lalu menumpuk dan membakarnya di dalam rumah sebelum akhirnya melarikan diri dan bersembunyi di sekitar belakang Kampus IAIN Parepare.

    “Motif pelaku melakukan pembakaran rumah karena kecewa terhadap orang tuanya yang dua kali menolak permintaan uang untuk biaya perjalanan ke Palu,” ungkap Wakapolres Kompol Saharuddin dalam konferensi pers.

    Atas perbuatannya, AD dikenakan Pasal 187 KUHP tentang tindak pidana pembakaran yang membahayakan keselamatan umum, dengan ancaman pidana penjara maksimal 15 tahun.

    Dalam pengungkapan kasus ini, polisi mengamankan sejumlah barang bukti antara lain:
    – Satu buah korek api warna ungu
    – Beberapa lembar kain sisa pembakaran

    Pihak kepolisian menyatakan situasi penanganan kasus berjalan aman dan tertib. Saat ini, pelaku telah diamankan untuk proses hukum lebih lanjut.
