Notifedia.com, PAREPARE – Pemerintah Kota Parepare menyatakan sikap tegas terhadap segala bentuk kecurangan dalam proses Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru (PPDB), menyusul mencuatnya dugaan ketidakadilan dalam seleksi jalur zonasi.
Wali Kota Parepare bersama Wakil Wali Kota menegaskan, tidak akan mentolerir jika ada Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN) yang terbukti menyalahgunakan kewenangan atau melakukan intervensi tidak semestinya dalam proses PPDB.
Pihaknya pun memastikan sanksi tegas akan dijatuhkan sesuai aturan yang berlaku.
“PPDB harus dilaksanakan secara transparan, objektif, dan berkeadilan. Tidak boleh ada oknum, apalagi dari kalangan ASN, yang menciderai kepercayaan masyarakat,” tegas Wali Kota Parepare Tasming Hamid. (28/6/2025).
Sebagai bentuk komitmen terhadap akuntabilitas dan keterbukaan informasi publik, Pemkot Parepare membuka ruang pelaporan dan pengaduan bagi masyarakat yang merasa dirugikan atau menemukan indikasi pelanggaran dalam proses PPDB. Pengaduan dapat disampaikan melalui layanan resmi Lapor Pak Wali di nomor WhatsApp 0811-4100-7777.
Wakil Wali Kota Parepare menambahkan bahwa semua laporan masyarakat akan diproses secara profesional oleh tim pengawasan internal yang independen.
“Kami ingin menciptakan ekosistem pendidikan yang sehat dan adil. Kami butuh partisipasi aktif masyarakat sebagai mitra pengawas sosial,” ujarnya.
Pemerintah Kota juga mengimbau semua pihak, termasuk penyelenggara pendidikan, ASN, serta masyarakat umum, untuk bersama-sama menjaga integritas proses PPDB. Hal ini dinilai sangat penting demi masa depan pendidikan yang lebih bermartabat di Kota Parepare.
Sebelumnya, polemik PPDB melalui Sistem Penerimaan Murid Baru (SPMB) berbasis online kembali mencuat setelah salah satu orang tua murid menyampaikan dugaan ketidakadilan dalam seleksi zonasi.
Lia, warga Parepare yang juga orang tua calon siswa, mengungkapkan kekecewaannya karena anaknya gagal lolos jalur zonasi, meskipun secara kriteria seharusnya memiliki peluang lebih besar dibandingkan beberapa siswa yang diterima.
Temuan ini menimbulkan pertanyaan besar atas integritas sistem SPMB yang diharapkan menjadi instrumen transparan dan adil dalam proses penerimaan siswa baru. Dugaan bahwa celah dalam sistem dapat disalahgunakan menjadi perhatian serius berbagai pihak.
Pemkot Parepare pun menegaskan bahwa langkah-langkah evaluasi dan pengawasan lebih ketat akan terus dilakukan untuk menutup peluang praktik-praktik curang dan memastikan bahwa sistem PPDB benar-benar menjunjung asas keadilan dan akuntabilitas.
