Parepare – Penjabat Wali Kota Parepare, Akbar Ali, secara resmi melepas ratusan peserta One Day Hard Enduro Trail Adventure Latber Pasukan Becek Zona Sulawesi Part III. Acara ini digelar di lapangan Binalipu, Kota Parepare, pada Sabtu (27/7/2024).
Dalam sambutannya, Akbar Ali mengungkapkan kebanggaannya atas antusiasme para peserta yang datang dari berbagai daerah di Sulawesi termaksud dari luar negri (singapura).
“Kegiatan ini tidak hanya menjadi ajang bagi para pecinta olahraga trail adventure, tetapi juga sebagai wadah untuk mempererat silaturahmi dan persaudaraan antar komunitas,” ujarnya.
Kegiatan One Day Hard Enduro Trail Adventure ini diikuti oleh lebih dari 700 riders yang terdiri dari berbagai kalangan, mulai dari pemula hingga profesional. Akbar ali juga menambahkan bahwa akan membuat kegiatan serupa yang lebih besar.
“Insya Allah akhir tahun kita adakan yang lebih besar lagi, dan saya sendiri sebagai wali kota ikut ambil bagian untuk bersama-sama menjelajahi medan terjal yang ada di kota Parepare,” tambahnya.
Acara ini juga dihadiri oleh beberapa pejabat daerah dan tokoh masyarakat, yang turut memberikan dukungan dan semangat kepada para peserta.
Selain itu, panitia juga menyiapkan berbagai hadiah menarik bagi para pemenang dan peserta yang berhasil menyelesaikan rute dengan baik.
Rute yang dilalui pun menantang, melintasi berbagai medan yang sulit seperti bukit, hutan, dan sungai, yang tentunya memberikan pengalaman tersendiri bagi para peserta.
Dengan digelarnya acara ini, diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pariwisata dan ekonomi lokal di Kota Parepare serta memperkenalkan potensi alam yang dimiliki daerah tersebut kepada masyarakat luas.
