Com, Parepare — Puluhan massa dari Komunitas Masyarakat Peduli Bangsa (KMPB) menggelar aksi unjuk rasa di depan Kantor DPRD Kota Parepare pada Rabu (15/5/25), guna menyuarakan sejumlah aspirasi terkait isu-isu nasional dan lokal. Aksi ini berlangsung damai meskipun sempat terjadi perdebatan antara perwakilan massa dan anggota DPRD.
Wakil Ketua DPRD Kota Parepare, Yusuf Lapanna, menyampaikan bahwa pihaknya telah menerima seluruh aspirasi yang disampaikan oleh KMPB. Ia menegaskan bahwa DPRD siap meneruskan tuntutan tersebut ke pemerintah pusat.
“Kami tadi menerima aspirasi dari KMPB, dan apa yang menjadi tuntutan mereka akan kami tindak lanjuti. Mudah-mudahan ini didengar oleh pemerintah pusat. Terkait perdebatan yang terjadi, saya anggap itu bukan insiden, tapi bagian dari dinamika demokrasi yang wajar dalam ruang aspirasi,” ungkap Yusuf kepada wartawan.
Menurutnya, perbedaan pandangan yang sempat terjadi antara seorang anggota DPRD dan salah satu peserta aksi merupakan bagian dari ekspresi demokrasi. Ia pun mengajak masyarakat untuk tetap aktif mengawasi jalannya pemerintahan daerah.
“Kami berharap masyarakat Parepare ikut mengawal kebijakan-kebijakan daerah, agar pemerintahan tetap berjalan sesuai koridor yang benar,” tambahnya.
Sementara itu, Anggota DPRD Parepare, Sappe, juga menegaskan komitmennya untuk menyampaikan aspirasi KMPB ke DPR RI, mengingat sebagian isu yang dibawa berskala nasional. Namun, ia juga mengingatkan agar masyarakat tidak melupakan persoalan-persoalan lokal yang juga memerlukan perhatian serius.
“Kami sangat menerima aspirasi ini. Tapi saya juga ingatkan agar kita tidak lupa terhadap hak-hak masyarakat kita di daerah sendiri, seperti pelaku UMKM yang butuh perhatian. Jadi bukan berarti kami menolak, justru kami sangat terbuka,” ujarnya.
Terkait tudingan penggunaan anggaran perjalanan dinas DPRD sebesar Rp50 miliar, Sappe meluruskan bahwa angka tersebut adalah total anggaran DPRD, bukan khusus untuk perjalanan dinas.
“Itu keliru. Anggaran DPRD sebesar Rp47 miliar itu sudah termasuk gaji, operasional, konsumsi, dan lainnya. Jadi tidak benar kalau disebutkan seluruhnya untuk perjalanan dinas,” jelasnya.
Aksi KMPB ini mencerminkan dinamika demokrasi di Kota Parepare, yang menunjukkan partisipasi aktif masyarakat dalam menyuarakan aspirasi sekaligus mengawasi jalannya pemerintahan. DPRD pun menyatakan komitmennya sebagai penghubung antara rakyat dan pemerintah.
