Notifedia.com, Parepare – Anggota DPR RI Komisi III, Andi Muzakkir Aqil, menunjukkan perhatian dan kepeduliannya terhadap masyarakat penyandang disabilitas dengan menghadiri langsung kegiatan penyerahan bantuan kaki palsu di Kelurahan Bukit Indah, Kecamatan Soreang, Kota Parepare.
Bantuan tersebut merupakan program Kementerian Sosial RI melalui UPT Sentra “Gau Mabbaji” Gowa, yang menyasar warga disabilitas untuk mendapatkan alat bantu mobilitas. Salah satu penerima manfaat adalah Ali Yapet, warga setempat yang menerima satu unit kaki palsu.
Andi Muzakkir Aqil menyampaikan apresiasinya terhadap langkah Kemensos yang terus hadir di tengah masyarakat, khususnya bagi kelompok rentan.
“Ini adalah bukti nyata kehadiran negara dalam memberikan perhatian kepada saudara-saudara kita penyandang disabilitas. Kami di DPR RI siap mendorong agar program seperti ini terus berlanjut dan menjangkau lebih banyak warga,” ujar Andi Muzakkir.
Kaki palsu yang diberikan dibuat oleh Sukri, teknisi ahli dari CV. Port Medica, Kabupaten Pinrang. Sukri merupakan lulusan Poltekkes Surakarta yang telah berpengalaman dalam bidang pembuatan alat bantu gerak seperti kaki palsu. CV. Port Medica sendiri telah menjadi mitra kerja Kemensos Sulsel dalam mendukung program rehabilitasi sosial.
Pengurus Sentra Gau Mabbaji Gowa, Saiful Samad, menjelaskan bahwa bantuan kaki palsu ini merupakan bagian dari layanan Asistensi Rehabilitasi Sosial (ATENSI) yang ditujukan untuk meningkatkan kemandirian dan kualitas hidup penyandang disabilitas.
“Kami bekerja sama dengan tenaga ahli untuk memastikan kaki palsu ini sesuai dan nyaman digunakan, agar penerima bisa kembali beraktivitas secara normal,” ujar Saiful.
Turut hadir dalam kegiatan tersebut Camat Soreang, perwakilan dari Polsek Soreang, serta sejumlah tokoh masyarakat yang menyambut baik program kemanusiaan ini.
Kehadiran Anggota DPR RI dalam penyerahan bantuan ini menjadi sinyal kuat bahwa kolaborasi antara pusat dan daerah sangat penting dalam memperluas cakupan layanan sosial yang menyentuh langsung kebutuhan masyarakat.
