Parepare — Ardin Wiranata, atlet muda berbakat yang merupakan anak binaan Persatuan Olahraga Billiard Seluruh Indonesia (POBSI) Kota Parepare, kembali membuktikan potensinya di kancah olahraga biliar. Kali ini, ia mengikuti Turnamen BBC Open Nine Ball yang diselenggarakan di Batavia Billiard, Kendari, Sulawesi Tenggara.
Ardin diberangkatkan ke Kendari bersama Owner Tim EVO Pool Pro sekaligus Wakil Ketua POBSI Kota Parepare, Andi Awaluddin, pada Jumat (20/12/2024). Kehadiran Andi Awaluddin sebagai pendamping merupakan bentuk dukungan penuh untuk Ardin yang dikenal dengan julukan “King Shoot.”
Dalam keterangannya, Andi Awaluddin menjelaskan bahwa meskipun ketinggalan pesawat namun tidak berputus asa untuk tetap terus berangkat ke Sulawesi Tenggara tepatnya di Kendari.
“Ia walaupun kita ketinggalan pesawat karena keterlambatan akibat cuaca namun tidak mengurungkan niat kami untuk tetap berangkat, sehingga kami membeli kembali tiket untuk berangkat.” Ujar Awal.
Andi Awaluddin juga mengungkapkan rasa bangganya terhadap prestasi Ardin. Sebelumnya, Ardin berhasil meraih juara dalam turnamen 9 Ball HC 4-6 di Kabupaten Wajo.
“Ardin adalah salah satu atlet kebanggaan kita. Kami berharap dia bisa kembali mengharumkan nama Kota Parepare di turnamen ini,” jelas Awal.
Ia juga mengimbau masyarakat Parepare untuk memberikan doa dan dukungan kepada Ardin, agar dapat tampil maksimal di kompetisi tersebut.
Turnamen BBC Open Nine Ball menjadi tantangan baru bagi Ardin untuk membuktikan kualitasnya sebagai atlet profesional. Prestasi yang diraihnya diharapkan menjadi motivasi bagi generasi muda lainnya di Parepare untuk terus mengembangkan bakat di bidang olahraga.
Semoga Ardin Wiranata dapat mengulangi kesuksesannya dan membawa pulang gelar juara, sekaligus membanggakan Parepare di pentas nasional.
