Notifedia.com, Parepare – Arus mudik Natal dan Tahun Baru (Nataru) 2025 di Pelabuhan Kota Parepare hingga Senin, 22 Desember 2025 pukul 10.00 WITA, terpantau masih didominasi oleh kedatangan penumpang dari luar daerah, khususnya dari wilayah Kalimantan.
Kepala Kantor Kesyahbandaran dan Otoritas Pelabuhan (KSOP) Parepare, Shaiful Horry, menjelaskan bahwa berdasarkan data sementara, kapal KM Prinsoya yang tiba dari Samarinda tercatat menurunkan sebanyak 1.693 penumpang.
Sementara itu, kapal KM Pantokrator dari Nunukan dijadwalkan tiba sekitar pukul 11.00 WITA dengan estimasi penumpang turun sebanyak 1.289 orang.
“Untuk akumulasi sementara, penumpang naik tercatat kurang lebih 3.700 orang, sedangkan penumpang turun mencapai 10.183 orang,” ujar Shaiful saat ditemui di Posko Pelabuhan Parepare.
Shaiful mengungkapkan, jika dibandingkan dengan periode yang sama tahun lalu (2024–2025), pergerakan penumpang masih menunjukkan tren yang bervariasi.
“Penumpang naik mengalami penurunan sekitar minus 32 persen dibandingkan tahun lalu, sementara untuk penumpang turun justru mengalami peningkatan sebesar 40,24 persen,” jelasnya.
Menurutnya, kondisi ini menunjukkan Parepare masih menjadi tujuan utama masyarakat yang mudik dari Kalimantan menuju Sulawesi Selatan.
Bahkan, KSOP memprediksi puncak penumpang turun akan terjadi besok, seiring masih adanya beberapa jadwal kedatangan kapal.
“Diperkirakan maksimal penumpang turun itu besok. Kebetulan juga besok ada rencana kunjungan dari Bapak Wali Kota, sekaligus peninjauan langsung di pelabuhan,” tambahnya
Dalam rangka memastikan keselamatan pelayaran selama masa Nataru, Shaiful menyampaikan bahwa pihaknya telah mengusulkan 15 kapal untuk dilakukan pemeriksaan kelayakan.
“Alhamdulillah, ke-15 kapal tersebut sudah dilakukan pengecekan oleh Kasi SASK dan semuanya dinyatakan siap serta dapat beroperasi dengan lancar sesuai yang kita harapkan bersama,” katanya.
Terkait pengamanan dan pemeriksaan penumpang, KSOP Parepare juga akan mengoperasikan mesin X-ray untuk kedatangan penumpang mulai besok.
“Kalau X-ray untuk keberangkatan, itu sudah kita aktifkan kurang lebih satu tahun yang lalu. Untuk kedatangan, besok akan mulai dioperasikan,” jelasnya.
Menjawab pertanyaan terkait potensi penundaan kapal akibat cuaca ekstrem, Shaiful menegaskan bahwa hingga saat ini belum ada penundaan keberangkatan.
“Alhamdulillah sementara tidak ada penundaan. Namun kami selalu melakukan update cuaca. Jika memang tidak dimungkinkan demi keselamatan, maka keberangkatan kapal akan ditunda. Sampai hari ini, semua kapal masih berjalan sesuai jadwal,” tegasnya.
Untuk hari ini sendiri, Shaiful menyebutkan terdapat tiga kapal yang dijadwalkan tiba di Pelabuhan Parepare, sebagai bagian dari arus mudik Nataru 2025 yang terus dipantau secara intensif oleh KSOP bersama seluruh stakeholder pelabuhan.
