Notifedia.com, Parepare — Cabang olahraga (cabor) Bola Basket Kota Parepare kembali menorehkan prestasi membanggakan.
Untuk pertama kalinya, tiga tim sekaligus berhasil memastikan tiket menuju Pekan Olahraga Provinsi (Porprov) 2026 di Sengkang–Bone. Ketiga tim tersebut adalah Tim Putra 5×5, Tim Putri 5×5, dan Tim Putri 3×3.
Keberhasilan ini lahir dari proses panjang. Selama enam bulan penuh, para atlet menjalani latihan intensif dengan disiplin tinggi. Semangat, ketekunan, serta konsistensi pemain menjadi faktor utama keberhasilan.
Tidak hanya itu, kerja keras para pelatih yang terus memberikan pembinaan baik dari aspek strategi, teknik, maupun fisik juga menjadi pondasi keberhasilan tim.
Pra Porprov Bola Basket 2025 sendiri berlangsung selama enam hari, mulai 22–26 November 2025 di Kota Makassar. Selama gelaran ini, tim-tim Basket Parepare tampil solid dan berhasil menembus persaingan ketat antar kabupaten/kota se-Sulawesi Selatan.
Tim Pra Porprov Basket Parepare dipimpin langsung oleh Manajer Arni, SH, serta Munir Malik, ST, MM. Keduanya menyampaikan apresiasi mendalam terhadap seluruh pemain dan pelatih.
“Terima kasih yang tak terhingga kepada seluruh anak-anak yang sudah berjuang melewati berbagai proses yang tidak begitu mudah. Begitu pun penghargaan setinggi-tingginya kami sampaikan kepada para coach yang dengan sabar dan rela meluangkan waktu untuk memberikan pelatihan,” ujar Arni selaku Tim Manajer.
Tidak lupa, ucapan terima kasih juga disampaikan kepada Ketua KONI Parepare, Kepala Dinas Pemuda dan Olahraga (Kadispora), serta seluruh sponsor yang telah memberikan dukungan sehingga pelaksanaan Pra Porprov Basket 2025 dapat berjalan lancar dan menghasilkan prestasi gemilang.
“Parepare kini resmi lolos ke Porprov 2026. Semoga anak-anak terus semangat berlatih dan para pelatih selalu diberi kesehatan untuk membina mereka menuju hasil yang lebih baik lagi,” tambahnya.
Prestasi ini menjadi motivasi besar bagi keluarga besar basket Parepare untuk menatap Porprov 2026 dengan optimisme tinggi. Sekali lagi, selamat kepada seluruh tim yang telah membawa nama Parepare kembali bersinar di kancah olahraga Sulawesi Selatan.
