Wakil Ketua Komisi I DPRD Parepare, Asy’ari Abdullah, menuding adanya dugaan maladministrasi hingga praktik kolusi, korupsi, dan nepotisme (KKN) dalam proses perizinannya.
“Pendirian Indomaret tersebut tidak sesuai dengan ketentuan Peraturan Daerah (Perda) Nomor 10 Tahun 2017, khususnya Pasal 1 Huruf e yang mengatur tentang jarak minimal pendirian toko modern dari pasar tradisional dan usaha kecil,” tegas Asy’ari, Sabtu (14/6/2025).
Ia meminta Pemerintah Kota Parepare segera mengevaluasi dan menindak pihak yang menerbitkan izin tanpa memperhatikan regulasi daerah.
“Wali Kota harus memberi sanksi tegas kepada pejabat yang mengeluarkan izin, karena ini jelas tidak sesuai perda,” tambahnya.
Kehadiran minimarket waralaba di Jalan Nurussamawati disebut menimbulkan keresahan di kalangan pelaku usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM).
Sejumlah pemilik warung dan toko kelontong di sekitar lokasi mengeluhkan omzet mereka menurun drastis sejak Indomaret mulai beroperasi.
Sorotan DPRD ini semakin mempertegas polemik keberadaan toko modern di Parepare yang kerap dinilai merugikan pelaku usaha tradisional. DPRD berjanji akan mengawal persoalan ini hingga ada kejelasan dari pihak eksekutif mengenai legalitas izin dan penerapan sanksi sesuai aturan.
