    Kecil-Kecil Jadi Pengemis: Satpol PP Parepare Selamatkan Anak-Anak dari Jalanan

    Notifedia.com, Parepare — Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja (Satpol PP) Kota Parepare melalui Tim Respek 3 yang dipimpin oleh Danru Lukman Amir melakukan penertiban terhadap sejumlah anak jalanan (anjal) dan pengemis di sekitar lampu merah Jalan Karaeng Burane, Senin (15/7/25).

    Penertiban ini merupakan tindak lanjut dari laporan masyarakat yang mengeluhkan maraknya aktivitas mengemis di perempatan jalan yang dinilai membahayakan keselamatan pengguna jalan dan mengganggu ketertiban umum.

    Dalam operasi tersebut, petugas mendapati sejumlah ibu-ibu bersama anak-anaknya yang diketahui berasal dari Kabupaten Pangkep. Mereka datang ke Parepare untuk mengemis, memanfaatkan simpati pengguna jalan dengan melibatkan anak-anak kecil.

    “Anak-anak ini mestinya sekolah, bukan berada di jalanan menjadi alat mencari uang,” ujar salah satu warga yang menyaksikan aksi penertiban.

    Tim Satpol PP membawa para pengemis tersebut ke kantor untuk dilakukan pendataan dan pembinaan lebih lanjut. Pihaknya juga akan berkoordinasi dengan instansi terkait, termasuk Dinas Sosial, guna mencari solusi jangka panjang terhadap persoalan sosial ini.

    Kepala Satpol PP Kota Parepare, melalui Danru Lukman Amir, menegaskan bahwa pihaknya akan terus melakukan patroli dan penertiban serupa sebagai bagian dari upaya menjaga ketertiban umum serta melindungi anak-anak dari eksploitasi di jalanan.
