Notifedia, Parepare — Dalam upaya untuk mempromosikan olahraga dan mengembangkan bakat atlet bulu tangkis di Kota Parepare, Pj Wali Kota Parepare, Akbar Ali, yang diwakili oleh Staf Ahli Bidang Kemasyarakatan dan SDM, Noldy Yoseph, secara resmi membuka Kejuaraan Bulu Tangkis Parepare Open Turnamen 2024.
Turut hadir dalam pembukaan tersebut, Ketua KONI Kota Parepare, Fadly Agus Mante serta Kapolsek Ujung dan beberapa tamu undangan lainnya.
Acara ini menjadi bagian dalam memeriahkan Hari Ulang Tahun Kota Parepare yang ke-64 Dan berlansung di GOR Mario Pulana SMA 4 Kota Parepare. Kamis, (29/2/24).
Noldy menyampaikan ucapan terima kasih dan penghargaan kepada panitia penyelenggara atas kerja keras mereka dalam menyelenggarakan acara ini, serta kepada seluruh peserta yang telah bersedia untuk berpartisipasi.
Lanjutnya bahwa Kejuaraan Bulu Tangkis Parepare Open Tournament 2024 tidak hanya menjadi ajang kompetisi yang bergengsi dalam dunia olahraga bulu tangkis, tetapi juga menjadi momen yang tepat untuk memperkuat solidaritas dan persaudaraan di antara pemain bulu tangkis serta pecinta olahraga di Kota Parepare.
“Dengan mengikuti kejuaraan ini, kita semua memiliki kesempatan untuk menunjukkan bakat, keterampilan, dan semangat sportivitas yang tinggi.” Ujar Noldy.
Melalui kompetisi ini, kami berharap dapat melahirkan atlet-atlet handal yang dapat mengharumkan nama baik daerah ini di tingkat nasional maupun internasional.
Turnamen ini diikuti oleh puluhan atlet bulu tangkis dari berbagai daerah di Sulawesi Selatan, serta beberapa peserta dari luar daerah. Para peserta akan bertanding dalam beberapa kategori.
Para penonton juga dapat menikmati pertandingan yang menegangkan serta mendukung para atlet dalam meraih prestasi.
