Parepare – Komisi Penanggulangan AIDS (KPA) Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan melakukan kunjungan resmi ke Kantor Wali Kota Parepare pada hari Selasa (23/7/24).
Kunjungan ini diterima langsung oleh Sekretaris Daerah (Sekda) Kota Parepare, Husni Syam, di Lounge Bj. Habibie, kantor wali kota.
Dalam kesempatan tersebut, Husni Syam didampingi oleh beberapa kepala Satuan Kerja Perangkat Daerah (SKPD) Kota Parepare.
Pertemuan ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat koordinasi dan kerjasama antara KPA Provinsi Sulsel dengan Pemerintah Kota Parepare dalam upaya penanggulangan dan pencegahan penyebaran HIV/AIDS di wilayah Parepare.
“Kami menyambut baik kunjungan ini dan berharap dapat meningkatkan sinergi antara KPA dan pemerintah daerah. Langkah ini penting untuk memperkuat program-program penanggulangan AIDS yang telah berjalan dan memastikan bantuan serta dukungan yang lebih efektif bagi masyarakat yang terdampak,” ujar Husni Syam.
Pertemuan ini juga diharapkan dapat menghasilkan strategi-strategi baru yang lebih efektif dalam penanganan HIV/AIDS serta memperkuat jaringan kerja antara berbagai pihak terkait di provinsi dan daerah.
Kunjungan ini menjadi langkah penting dalam memperkuat komitmen bersama untuk menanggulangi epidemi HIV/AIDS dan memastikan kesejahteraan masyarakat Kota Parepare.
