Makassar – Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) Kota Parepare sukses melaksanakan Rapat Evaluasi Badan Ad Hoc Penyelenggara Pemilu pada pelaksanaan tahapan Pemilihan Gubernur dan Wakil Gubernur serta Wali Kota dan Wakil Wali Kota Tahun 2024.
Kegiatan ini berlangsung selama tiga hari, mulai 25 hingga 27 Januari 2025, di Ball Room Hotel Aryaduta, Kota Makassar.Rapat evaluasi ini dihadiri oleh Panitia Pemilihan Kecamatan (PPK) dan Panitia Pemungutan Suara (PPS) se-Kota Parepare, serta rekan-rekan pers.
Selain membahas proses dan evaluasi pelaksanaan pemilu 2024, kegiatan ini juga menjadi momen istimewa karena seluruh PPK dan PPS menerima penghargaan berupa sertifikat atas dedikasi mereka dalam mendukung suksesnya pemilu.
Pemberian penghargaan ini menjadi hal yang spesial karena baru pertama kali dilakukan di bawah kepemimpinan Ketua KPU Parepare, Awal Yanto.
“Penghargaan ini adalah bentuk apresiasi kami kepada seluruh PPK dan PPS yang telah bekerja keras demi kelancaran dan keberhasilan tahapan pemilu. Semoga ini menjadi motivasi untuk terus memberikan kontribusi terbaik,” ujar Awal Yanto.
Selain penghargaan, rapat evaluasi ini menghadirkan sejumlah pemateri penting, antara lain:
• Kasi Intel Kejaksaan Negeri Kota Parepare yang mewakili Kepala Kejaksaan Negeri menyampaikan materi terkait pengawasan dan penegakan hukum dalam pemilu.
• Kapolres Kota Parepare yang memberikan materi mengenai keamanan dan ketertiban selama tahapan pemilu.
• Asisten I Pemkot Parepare yang mewakili Penjabat Wali Kota Parepare menyampaikan pandangan mengenai peran pemerintah daerah dalam mendukung kelancaran pemilu.
Ketua KPU Kota Parepare, Awal Yanto, menyampaikan apresiasi kepada seluruh pihak yang terlibat.
“Kami berterima kasih atas kerja sama dari PPK, PPS, mitra strategis, dan seluruh pihak terkait. Keberhasilan penyelenggaraan pemilu 2024 tidak terlepas dari kerja keras dan sinergi yang luar biasa,” ujarnya.
Dengan suksesnya kegiatan ini, KPU Kota Parepare berharap dapat terus meningkatkan kualitas penyelenggaraan pemilu di masa depan.
Momentum penghargaan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi inspirasi bagi penyelenggara pemilu untuk terus memberikan yang terbaik.
