Notifedia.com, Parepare — Wali Kota Parepare, Tasming Hamid, menyampaikan ucapan selamat atas pelantikan pengurus baru Badan Komunikasi Pemuda Remaja Masjid Indonesia (BKPRMI) Kota Parepare yang digelar di Masjid Terapung BJ Habibie, Senin (4/8/2025) malam.
“Selamat kepada pengurus BKPRMI yang baru saja dilantik. Terima kasih kepada pengurus sebelumnya atas dedikasi dan kontribusinya bagi Parepare. Harapan saya, program-program baik yang telah berjalan dapat dilanjutkan, disertai inovasi untuk kemajuan organisasi dan daerah,” ujar Tasming Hamid dalam sambutannya.
Pada kesempatan itu, Tasming mengajak seluruh pihak yang berkaitan dengan bidang keagamaan—mulai dari ustadz dan ustadzah hingga organisasi berbasis Islam—untuk mendorong semangat masyarakat yang beragama muslim bisa fasih baca tulis Al-Qur’an.
“Kami telah mengeluarkan edaran kepada ASN muslim agar mampu membaca dan menulis Al-Qur’an dengan baik. Kami juga mengimbau agar memakmurkan masjid, serta menghentikan segala kegiatan ketika waktu salat telah tiba,” tegasnya.
Tasming menutup sambutannya dengan mengajak seluruh pemangku kepentingan untuk terus berkolaborasi dan berinovasi demi kemajuan Parepare, khususnya dalam membangun kualitas umat.
“Bersama-sama, kita jadikan Parepare sebagai kota yang tidak hanya maju secara fisik, tetapi juga kuat dalam nilai-nilai keimanan dan ketakwaan,” pungkasnya.
