Parepare – Pemerintah Kota Parepare melalui Badan Perencanaan Pembangunan Daerah (Bappeda) menggelar Musyawarah Rencana Pembangunan (Musrenbang) Perempuan dan Anak di Auditorium BJ Habibie, Rumah Jabatan Wali Kota Parepare, pada Kamis, 13 Maret 2025.
Acara ini dihadiri langsung oleh Wali Kota Parepare, Tasming Hamid, yang didampingi oleh Ketua TP PKK sekaligus Bunda PAUD Parepare, Andi Arfiah Tasming. Turut hadir Kepala Bappeda, Asisten I, serta perwakilan dari kelompok perempuan, anak, dan pegiat sosial dan kemanusiaan.
Dalam sambutannya, Wali Kota Tasming Hamid menegaskan pentingnya kesetaraan gender dalam pembangunan daerah. Ia meminta seluruh jajaran Pemerintah Kota Parepare untuk memberikan perhatian lebih kepada perempuan dan anak dalam setiap kebijakan yang diambil.
“Kita harus melibatkan atau menyertakan kaum perempuan dan anak dalam mengambil kebijakan membangun Parepare agar masyarakatnya semakin sejahtera dan maju,” ujar Tasming.
Ia juga menekankan bahwa pembangunan di Kota Parepare harus berperspektif gender dan anak. Hal ini berarti setiap rencana pembangunan harus mempertimbangkan kebutuhan serta permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh perempuan dan anak.
Selain itu, Wali Kota menekankan pentingnya memberikan kesempatan yang sama antara laki-laki dan perempuan dalam berkarir serta bekerja. Kesetaraan ini juga harus mencakup aspek peningkatan sumber daya manusia, pendidikan, serta akses terhadap layanan kesehatan yang memadai.
Musrenbang Perempuan dan Anak ini diharapkan dapat menjadi wadah aspirasi bagi perempuan dan anak di Parepare, serta menjadi langkah konkret dalam mewujudkan kebijakan pembangunan yang inklusif dan berkeadilan.
