Notifedia.com, PAREPARE – Sekretariat Wakil Presiden Republik Indonesia menggelar Focus Group Discussion (FGD) di Kota Parepare dalam rangka Studi Program Percepatan Penurunan Stunting di wilayah perkotaan tahun 2025. Kegiatan ini berlangsung pada Kamis, 13 Juni 2025, di Kantor Sekretariat Daerah Kota Parepare.
Kepala Dinas Pengendalian Penduduk dan Keluarga Berencana (DPPKB) Kota Parepare, Amarun Agung Hamka, menjelaskan bahwa Kota Parepare menjadi salah satu lokus studi di Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan yang dipilih dalam kegiatan ini.
FGD tersebut dihadiri oleh sejumlah pejabat pemerintah, termasuk Sekretaris Daerah Kota Parepare, Husni Syam, serta perwakilan dari berbagai instansi dan pemangku kepentingan yang berkaitan dengan program penurunan stunting.
“FGD ini bertujuan untuk menggali berbagai masukan serta merumuskan strategi percepatan penurunan stunting di wilayah perkotaan secara lebih efektif dan terarah,” kata Amarun Hamka.
Ia menambahkan bahwa Pemerintah Kota Parepare di bawah kepemimpinan Wali Kota Tasming Hamid menunjukkan komitmen kuat dalam mendukung upaya penanganan stunting.
“Bersama para pemangku kepentingan, kami pemerintah kota Parepare berkomitmen mendukung generasi Indonesia yang sehat, cerdas, dan unggul,” tutup mantan Kepala Bagian Humas Pemkot Parepare itu.
Alumni STPDN itu berharap tercipta sinergi antara pemerintah pusat dan daerah dalam menyusun kebijakan serta intervensi yang lebih adaptif terhadap kondisi di perkotaan, terutama dalam upaya menekan angka stunting secara nasional.
