    Penangkapan Pelaku Penyalahgunaan Narkotika Jenis Sabu di Sidrap

    Sidrap – Tim Khusus (Timsus) Unit 1 Ditresnarkoba Polda Sulsel berhasil mengamankan seorang terduga pelaku penyalahgunaan narkotika jenis sabu.

    Kegiatan tersebut dipimpin langsung oleh Kanit Timsus Kompol Abd Nuradnan, S.H., dan didampingi Panit 1 Timsus AKP Bambang Supriady, S.H., dilakukan di Jalan Jend. Sudirman, Kelurahan Pangkajene, Kecamatan Maritengngae, Kabupaten Sidrap.

    Hal tersebut kemudian dibenarkan langsung oleh Dir Narkoba Polda Sulsel, Komisaris Besar Polisi (Kombes) Darmawan Arfandy saat di temuinya.

    Mulainya Tim menerima informasi yang dimana anggota Timsus merasa resah akan aktivitas penyalahgunaan narkotika di wilayah tersebut.

    Lebih jauh Kanit Timsus yang didampingi Panit Timsus tersebut , melakukan penyelidikan pagi sekitar pukul 08.00 WITA. Setelah memastikan lokasi dan target, tim bergerak menuju tempat kejadian perkara (TKP) sekitar pukul 09.00 WITA untuk melakukan pemantauan.

    Dimana pada pukul 10.45 WITA, anggota mendapati seorang pria yang mencurigakan sesuai ciri-ciri informasi yang diperoleh. Hasil informasi dilapangan pria tersebut, yang kemudian diketahui berinisial J dengan nama panggilan Dollar, langsung ditangkap dan digeledah.

    “Dari tangan kiri tersangka, ditemukan satu sachet plastik berisi kristal bening yang dibungkus plastik hitam, diduga kuat sebagai narkotika jenis sabu dengan berat bruto 48 gram,” kata Kanit Timsus.

    Lebih jauh perwira satu bunga itu mengungkapkan secara mendetail akan tersangka diketahui bernama lengkap J alias Dollar. Pria berusia 31 tahun tersebut berprofesi sebagai tukang kayu dan berdomisili di Kelurahan Manisa, Kecamatan Baranti, Kabupaten Sidrap.

    Dalam interogasi awal, tersangka mengakui bahwa barang bukti yang ditemukan adalah miliknya. Ia juga menyebutkan bahwa narkotika tersebut diperolehnya dari seorang berinisial A.

    Tersangka J kini diamankan di Polda Sulsel untuk proses hukum lebih lanjut. Ia dijerat dengan Pasal 114 subsider Pasal 112 Undang-Undang Nomor 35 Tahun 2009 tentang Narkotika.

    Penangkapan ini menjadi salah satu langkah konkret Polda Sulsel dalam memerangi peredaran narkotika di wilayah Sulawesi Selatan.

    Masyarakat diimbau untuk terus mendukung upaya pemberantasan narkotika dengan melaporkan aktivitas mencurigakan kepada pihak berwenang. “Pada Jumat, 17 Januari 2025,”jelas Nuradnan.
