Selayar, – Sebuah penemuan mengejutkan terjadi di Desa Jinato, Kecamatan Taka Bonerate, Kabupaten Kepulauan Selayar, Sabtu siang (25/1/25).
Seorang mayat laki-laki tanpa kepala dan lengan kiri ditemukan terdampar di pinggir pantai sebelah barat dekat dermaga kayu pasar Dusun Jinato.
Menurut keterangan Polsek Taka Bonerate, mayat tersebut pertama kali ditemukan oleh seorang anak perempuan bernama Aqilah (9), warga Dusun Jinato.
Saat bermain di pesisir pantai sekitar pukul 13.20 WITA, Aqilah melihat objek mencurigakan yang awalnya disangka boneka. Setelah memastikan bersama warga, diketahui bahwa itu adalah jasad manusia.
Mayat tersebut menggunakan baju lengan panjang berwarna putih keabu-abuan dengan lengan biru, celana panjang training hitam, dan sepatu beserta kaus kaki hitam. Tubuhnya sudah membengkak, dan tidak ditemukan identitas di pakaian atau sekitar lokasi.
Setelah penemuan tersebut, pemerintah desa bersama warga segera mengevakuasi jasad tersebut ke daratan. Sekitar pukul 13.50 WITA, mayat langsung dimakamkan di TPU Desa Jinato karena kondisinya yang sudah membusuk.
Kapolsek Taka Bonerate menyampaikan bahwa hingga saat ini pihaknya masih melakukan penyelidikan untuk mengungkap identitas mayat tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil sementara, dipastikan bahwa korban bukan warga Desa Jinato, karena tidak ada yang mengenali ciri-cirinya.
“Kami masih mengumpulkan keterangan dan bukti untuk mengetahui identitas korban. Kami juga berharap masyarakat atau pihak keluarga yang merasa kehilangan anggota keluarga dengan ciri-ciri tersebut dapat segera melapor,” ujar Kapolsek.
Himbauan kepada MasyarakatKepolisian sengaja tidak menyamarkan informasi mengenai ciri-ciri korban dengan harapan media dan masyarakat dapat membantu menyebarkan informasi sehingga keluarga korban dapat segera mengenali dan melapor.
Pihak Polsek Taka Bonerate meminta masyarakat untuk tetap tenang dan tidak berspekulasi mengenai kejadian ini. Informasi lebih lanjut akan disampaikan setelah penyelidikan selesai.
