NOTIFEDIA, PAREPARE — Penjabat (Pj) Wali Kota Parepare, Akbar Ali, turut berduka cita atas meninggalnya ananda Aqila, penderita penyakit gizi buruk serta penyakit penyerta.
Ananda Aqila meninggal dunia pada hari Senin, 15 Januari 2024, di Rumah Sakit Umum Pusat Wahidin Sudirohusodo Kota Makassar.
Akbar Ali menyampaikan rasa duka cita yang mendalam atas meninggalnya ananda Aqila. Ia juga mendoakan agar keluarga yang ditinggalkan diberikan ketabahan dan kesabaran.
“Saya turut berduka cita atas meninggalnya ananda Aqila. Semoga keluarga yang ditinggalkan diberikan ketabahan dan kesabaran,” kata Akbar Ali.
Sebelumnya, Akbar Ali menyempatkan dirinya melihat kondisi ananda Aqila saat masih di rawat di RS Hasri Ainun Habibie pada tanggal 8 Januari 2024.
Dalam kesempatan tersebut, Akbar Ali menyampaikan perhatian dan dukungannya kepada keluarga ananda Aqila.
Ia juga memerintahkan jajarannya di Dinas Kesehatan serta RS HAH untuk memberikan penanganan yang maksimal penangan yang Spesial Khusus kepada ananda Aqila.
“Saya sudah memerintahkan jajaran Dinkes untuk memberikan penanganan yang maksimal, Spesial dan Khusus kepada ananda Aqila. Semoga ananda Aqila bisa segera sembuh,” ujar Akbar Ali
Kondisi ananda Aqila sempat membaik setelah beberapa hari dirawat di RS HAH yang mana beratnya dari 10 kilo bertambah 3 kilo setelah beberapa hari di rawat.
Namun, Allah berkehendak lain. Ananda Aqila menghembuskan napas terakhirnya pada hari Senin, 15 Januari 2024.
Meninggalnya ananda Aqila menjadi duka yang mendalam bagi masyarakat Kota Parepare. Ia menjadi simbol perjuangan para penderita gizi buruk di Kota Parepare
