Parepare – Penjabat (Pj) Wali Kota Parepare, Akbar Ali, turut serta dalam pelaksanaan upacara peringatan Hari Bhayangkara ke-78 yang berlangsung di Lapangan Andi Makkasau, Kota Parepare, pada hari Senin, 1 Juli 2024.
Upacara ini mengusung tema “Menuju Indonesia Emas”, yang mencerminkan semangat dan harapan bangsa menuju masa depan yang lebih baik dan gemilang.
Dalam wawancara bersama rekan media, Akbar Ali menyampaikan apresiasi dan penghargaan yang tinggi terhadap kinerja Kepolisian Republik Indonesia (Polri) dalam menjaga keamanan dan ketertiban masyarakat.
“Peran Polri sangat vital dalam menciptakan kondisi yang kondusif bagi pembangunan nasional. Dengan semangat Hari Bhayangkara, kita berharap Polri terus menjadi garda terdepan dalam melindungi dan mengayomi masyarakat,” ujar Akbar Ali.
Acara ini juga diwarnai dengan berbagai rangkaian kegiatan, termasuk parade pasukan, atraksi seni dan budaya, Semua rangkaian kegiatan tersebut bertujuan untuk memperkuat rasa kebersamaan dan sinergi antara Polri dan masyarakat dalam mewujudkan cita-cita Indonesia Emas.
Upacara Hari Bhayangkara ke-78 ini tidak hanya menjadi momen perayaan, tetapi juga refleksi bersama untuk memperkuat komitmen dalam menjaga keamanan, kedamaian, dan persatuan di tengah keberagaman bangsa Indonesia.
Peringatan Hari Bhayangkara ke-78 ini menjadi bukti nyata dedikasi Polri dalam mengabdi kepada bangsa dan negara, serta menjadi momentum untuk meningkatkan kinerja dan pelayanan kepada masyarakat demi terciptanya Indonesia yang lebih maju dan sejahtera.
