Kegiatan ini berlangsung di Gedung LPPM Universitas Hasanuddin, Selasa, 3 Juni 2025.
Rapat tersebut menjadi ajang konsolidasi dan sinergi antara Pemerintah Kota Parepare dengan kalangan akademisi dari Unhas yang menerima program PPMU.
Dalam kesempatan itu, Tasming Hamid menyampaikan ucapan terima kasih dan apresiasinya atas kontribusi para penerima PPMU dalam mendukung pembangunan daerah, khususnya di Kota Parepare.
“Kami sangat mengapresiasi peran serta para penerima PPMU Unhas. Program ini bukan hanya berdampak pada penguatan kapasitas masyarakat, tetapi juga memperkuat kolaborasi antara pemerintah daerah dan perguruan tinggi dalam mendorong pembangunan berkelanjutan,” ujar Tasming.
Tasming juga menekankan pentingnya kolaborasi lintas sektor, termasuk dukungan dari dunia akademik, sebagai bagian dari upaya bersama untuk mewujudkan visi pembangunan Kota Parepare yang lebih maju, inklusif, dan berdaya saing.
Mantan pimpinan DPRD Parepare itu berharap rapat koordinasi ini menjadi langkah awal untuk merumuskan program-program pengabdian masyarakat yang selaras dengan kebutuhan dan potensi lokal di Parepare.
Selain itu, kata dia, kegiatan ini juga memperkuat hubungan kemitraan strategis antara Pemerintah Kota Parepare dan Universitas Hasanuddin.
