Dalam forum yang beranggotakan 17 daerah dari wilayah timur Indonesia itu, Tasming Hamid menyampaikan harapannya agar pertemuan ini dapat menghasilkan program-program strategis yang dapat diadopsi oleh masing-masing kota untuk mendorong kemajuan daerah.
“Kegiatan ini menjadi wadah strategis untuk berbagi ide dan pengalaman antardaerah. Saya berharap ada program yang bisa digagas bersama, kemudian direplikasi di kota masing-masing untuk percepatan pembangunan,” ujar Tasming Hamid.
Salah satu isu yang menjadi perhatian khusus Wali Kota Parepare adalah penanganan stunting. Menurutnya, stunting merupakan program prioritas nasional yang membutuhkan kerja sama dan komitmen nyata dari seluruh kepala daerah.
“Stunting bukan hanya masalah kesehatan, tapi juga menyangkut kualitas generasi masa depan. Saya mengajak seluruh kepala daerah di Komwil VI Apeksi untuk menjadikan penanganan stunting sebagai agenda utama yang dikerjakan secara kolaboratif,” paparnya.
Dalam kesempatan tersebut, Wali Kota Kendari, Siska Karina Imran, resmi dilantik sebagai Ketua Apeksi Komwil VI. Tasming Hamid pun menyampaikan ucapan selamat dan harapannya kepada kepemimpinan yang baru.
“Selamat kepada Ibu Wali Kota Kendari atas amanah sebagai Ketua Komwil VI Apeksi. Semoga di bawah kepemimpinan beliau, forum ini semakin solid dan progresif dalam mendorong kemajuan kota-kota di kawasan timur Indonesia,” ucapnya
