Parepare – Kepala Dinas Kepemudaan, Olahraga, dan Pariwisata, Iskandar Nusu, secara resmi membuka kegiatan Sepak Bola Mini Aspom Cup 4 tahun 2024. Acara ini berlangsung di Lapangan Asrama Pom Kota Parepare pada hari Minggu, 14 Juli 2024.
Iskandar Nusu hadir mewakili Penjabat Wali Kota Parepare, Akbar Ali, yang tidak dapat hadir. Turut serta hadir dalam kegiatan tersebut, Dadenpom IV, Danbrigi 11/BS di Wakili, Kapolres di Wakili, Danyon Brimob di Wakili, Camat Ujung, Lurah Ujung Sabbang, Askot PSSI di Wakili.
Dalam sambutannya, Iskandar menyampaikan bahwa Olahraga mempunyai sifat mempersatukan, karena dalam olahraga kita meninggalkan status, profesi dan kembali kedalam fitrah kita sebagai manusia yaitu mengandalka kemampuan.
“Terlebih olahraga tersebut dilakukan dalam kelompok, sehingga dibutuhkan kesabaran, toleransi dan kerjasama untuk memperoleh hasil yang terbaik.” Ujar Kadis DKOP yang mewakili Pj Wali Kota membacakan Sambutannya.
Olahraga Sepak Bola yang merupakan salah satu olahraga yang sangat digemari oleh masyarakat Indonesia, termasuk kita di Kota Parepare ini.
Sebagai upaya peningkatan mutu pendidikan di sekolah yang tidak hanya terfokus pada pencapaian kualitas akademik, penting sekali untuk memberi perhatian pada aspek non akademik, sehingga anak-anak diharapkan dapat memperoleh pengalaman belajar yang utuh dan sesuai dengan karakteristik kebutuhan dan perkembangannya serta mengeksplorasi minat, bakat dan kemampuan yang dimiliki.
“Penyelenggaraan Turnamen Sepak Bola Mini Usia 10 Tahun Tahun 2024 ini merupakan salah satu ajang untuk mengapresiasi bakat dan minat anak- anak, sehingga mampu mengukir prestasi dalam olahraga Sepak Bola, serta memupuk rasa persatuan dan kesatuan dikalangan pelajar, khususnya dalam olahraga Sepak Bola. Disamping itu, turnamen ini juga sebagai langkah preventif dalam mengurangi kegiatan yang bersifat negatif dikalangan anak-anak.” Lanjutnya.
Saya berharap dari hasil kompetisi ini bisa terpilih pemain-pemain terbaik berbakat. Olehnya itu Disporapar maupun Pengurus Kota PSSI Parepare untuk bisa memantau, meneliti, mencatat pemain-pemain terbaik berbakat yang sedang berlaga, sehingga memiliki database pemain-pemain Sepak Bola terbaik dan berbakat yang nantinya akan dibina menjadi kontingen Sepak Bola Kota Parepare.
Kegiatan Sepak Bola Mini Aspom Cup 4 tahun ini diikuti oleh 22 klub SSB (Sekolah Sepak Bola) dari seluruh wilayah Ajatappareng. Para peserta tampak antusias dan bersemangat dalam mengikuti turnamen ini.
Aspom Cup sendiri telah menjadi agenda tahunan yang ditunggu-tunggu oleh masyarakat Parepare dan sekitarnya. Selain sebagai ajang kompetisi, turnamen ini juga menjadi hiburan yang menarik bagi warga setempat.
