    NOTIFEDIA, Parepare — Pemerintah Kota Parepare turut menyemarakkan kegiatan Hari Gizi Nasional Ke-64 yang berlangsung dengan meriah di Alun-alun Lapangan Andi Makkasau. Kamis, (25/1/24).

    Menyambut peringatan Hari Gizi NasionalIndonesia, pembahasan yang kiranya takboleh kita kesampingkan tentang stunting. Sebagaimana yang kita ketahui bersamabahwa stunting merupakan kondisi ketikapanjang atau tinggi badan anak kurang jikadibandingkan dengan umurnya.

    Bukannya semata kurang panjang atau punkurang tinggi, melainkan tinggi badan anakmenunjukkan angka di bawah -2 standardeviasi (SD).

    “Dengan demikian, dapat dikatakan bahwa stunting adalah kondisi ketika anakmengalami gangguan pertumbuhan sehingga tumbuh kembang mereka berbeda dengan teman-teman seusianya”

    Hari Gizi Nasional yang diperingati setiap 25 Januari, merupakan momentum penting dalam menggalang kepedulian dan meningkatkan komitmen dari berbagai pihak untuk bersama membangun gizi menuju Indonesia Sehat melalui gizi seimbang dan produksi pangan berkelanjutan, sehingga dapat turut mendorong pencapaian RPJMNbidang kesehatan.

    Angka stunting di Indonesia masih tinggi yaitu 21,6% (SSGI 2022) serta masih membutuhkan upaya yang lebihdalam nencapai target penurunan stunting pada tahun 2024 sebesar 14% berdasarkan data tersebut perlu menjadi perhatian khusus terhadap pentingnya pemenuhan gizi ibu sejak hamil, menyusui dan gizi pada balita (1000 HPK).

    Peringatan Hari Gizi Nasional Ke-64 di Kota Parepare diisi dengan berbagai kegiatan, termasuk penyuluhan gizi, senam bersama dan Lomba Kreasi MP ASI Sehat dan Berbagi

    Semua kegiatan tersebut dirancang untuk melibatkan masyarakat dalam upaya meningkatkan pemahaman tentang pentingnya gizi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

    Semoga melalui peringatan Hari Gizi Nasional ini, kesadaran masyarakat tentang pentingnya gizi semakin meningkat, dan langkah-langkah preventif untuk menjaga kesehatan dapat diimplementasikan secara lebih luas di Kota Parepare.
