Parepare – Pemuda Muhammadiyah mengadakan Musyawarah Daerah di Gedung Islamic Center Kota Parepare pada hari Jumat (24/5/24).
Acara ini dihadiri oleh unsur Forum Koordinasi Pimpinan Daerah (Forkopimda) Kota Parepare, para civitas Muhammadiyah, kader-kader dari beberapa lembaga kemahasiswaan, serta tiga bakal calon Wali Kota Parepare: Tasming Hamid, Erna Rasyid, dan Taqiuddin Jabbar.
Kegiatan yang dimulai malam hari, berlangsung dengan meriah dan penuh semangat. Dalam kesempatan tersebut, para bakal calon Wali Kota turut serta dalam dialog kebangsaan yang digagas oleh Pemuda Muhammadiyah.
Dialog ini bertujuan untuk mendiskusikan berbagai isu strategis terkait pembangunan kota dan meningkatkan kesadaran politik di kalangan pemuda.
Tasming Hamid, salah satu bakal calon Wali Kota Parepare, menyampaikan visinya tentang pentingnya kolaborasi antara pemerintah dan masyarakat dalam membangun Parepare yang lebih maju.
Ia menekankan perlunya peningkatan layanan publik dan pengembangan ekonomi lokal yang berkelanjutan.
Erna Rasyid, yang juga merupakan bakal calon Wali Kota, berbicara tentang perlunya pemberdayaan perempuan dan peningkatan pendidikan sebagai dasar kemajuan kota.
Ia mengajak seluruh elemen masyarakat untuk bersama-sama menciptakan Parepare yang inklusif dan berdaya saing tinggi.
Sementara itu, Taqiuddin Jabbar menyampaikan gagasannya tentang pentingnya inovasi dan teknologi dalam pemerintahan. Menurutnya, digitalisasi pelayanan publik dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dan transparansi, serta mempermudah akses masyarakat terhadap layanan pemerintah.
Musyawarah Daerah Pemuda Muhammadiyah kali ini diharapkan mampu menjadi ajang diskusi konstruktif yang menghasilkan berbagai rekomendasi strategis untuk pembangunan Parepare ke depan.
Para peserta yang hadir pun menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi dalam mengikuti rangkaian acara dan dialog kebangsaan.
Acara ini menjadi momentum penting bagi Pemuda Muhammadiyah dalam memperkuat perannya sebagai agen perubahan di masyarakat, sekaligus mendukung terciptanya proses demokrasi yang sehat dan inklusif di Kota Parepare.
