Notifedia.com, Parepare – Dalam rangka mendukung pengembangan ekonomi lokal berbasis teknologi, Nur Zainna Ramadhani, mahasiswi Program Studi Sosiologi Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik Universitas Hasanuddin yang tergabung dalam KKNT 114, menginisiasi program kerja bertajuk “Digitalisasi UMKM: Pendaftaran di Google Maps dan Pendampingan Pembuatan QRIS” di Kelurahan Lautang Benteng, Kecamatan Maritengngae, Kabupaten Sidenreng Rappang (Sidrap).
Program ini bertujuan untuk membantu pelaku Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) di wilayah setempat agar lebih dikenal secara luas melalui pemanfaatan platform digital seperti Google Maps, serta menyediakan alternatif pembayaran non-tunai melalui QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard). Dalam pelaksanaannya, QRIS dibuat melalui salah satu platform digital populer yaitu GoPay, agar memudahkan pelaku UMKM dalam menerima pembayaran digital dari berbagai aplikasi dompet elektronik.
Zainna mengungkapkan bahwa berdasarkan hasil observasi awalnya, masih banyak pelaku UMKM di Kelurahan Lautang Benteng yang belum mendaftarkan usaha mereka di Google Maps dan sebagian besar masih mengandalkan transaksi secara tunai atau konvensional.
“Saya melihat bahwa masih banyak pelaku UMKM di kelurahan ini yang belum memanfaatkan Google Maps untuk memperluas jangkauan usahanya. Selain itu, sebagian besar masih bergantung pada pembayaran tunai. Padahal, di era digital seperti sekarang, visibilitas online dan transaksi non-tunai bisa menjadi kunci kemajuan usaha,” jelas Nur Zainna.
Melalui pendekatan partisipatif, Zainna melaksanakan program kerja ini secara langsung dengan metode door to door, mendatangi satu per satu pelaku UMKM. Ia mendampingi mereka dalam proses pendaftaran usaha di Google Maps, mulai dari pengumpulan data, dokumentasi lokasi, hingga pengunggahan informasi ke platform tersebut. Selain itu, ia juga memberikan edukasi mengenai penggunaan QRIS melalui platform GoPay, termasuk tahapan pendaftaran dan cara penggunaannya dalam transaksi sehari-hari.
“Digitalisasi bukan hanya soal teknologi, tapi soal kesempatan. Saya ingin pelaku usaha lokal memiliki kesempatan yang sama untuk berkembang dan dikenal luas, baik oleh warga sekitar maupun konsumen dari luar daerah,” tambahnya.
Program ini mendapat sambutan positif dari para pelaku UMKM yang merasa terbantu dan lebih percaya diri menghadapi tantangan bisnis di era digital. Langkah ini diharapkan menjadi awal dari perubahan jangka panjang dalam meningkatkan daya saing ekonomi lokal.
