Notifedia.com, MAKASSAR — Pemerintah Kota Parepare menyatakan komitmennya mendukung upaya peningkatan pendapatan daerah Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Komitmen tersebut ditunjukkan melalui kehadiran Wali Kota Parepare, Tasming Hamid, dalam kegiatan Rapat Koordinasi Optimalisasi Pendapatan Daerah yang digelar di Baruga Asta Cita, Rumah Jabatan Gubernur Sulsel, Kota Makassar, Jumat (11/7/2025).
Kepala Badan Pendapatan Daerah (Bapenda) Sulsel, Reza Faisal Saleh, dalam sambutannya mengungkapkan bahwa masih banyak potensi tunggakan pajak kendaraan bermotor di daerah yang membutuhkan perhatian dan sinergi semua pihak.
“Untuk itu, Bapak Gubernur berinisiatif mengundang seluruh kepala daerah guna merumuskan rencana kerja sama yang akan disampaikan langsung oleh beliau,” ujar Reza.
Reza menambahkan, Bapenda telah mengirimkan surat kerja sama kepada seluruh pemerintah kabupaten dan kota se-Sulawesi Selatan.
“Alhamdulillah, sejauh ini sudah ada 13 daerah yang menyatakan kesiapan untuk bekerja sama, melibatkan seluruh aparatur pemerintah masing-masing,” tambahnya.
Ia berharap, melalui rapat koordinasi ini, akan ada tambahan daerah yang menyatakan komitmen serta arahan yang lebih jelas dari Gubernur terkait kebijakan dan pelaksanaan di lapangan.
Wali Kota Parepare, Tasming Hamid, dalam kesempatan tersebut menyampaikan dukungan penuh terhadap inisiatif pemerintah provinsi dalam mengoptimalkan potensi pendapatan daerah, termasuk sektor pajak kendaraan bermotor.
“Kami di Parepare siap bersinergi dengan Pemerintah Provinsi Sulsel dalam rangka meningkatkan pendapatan asli daerah yang pada akhirnya akan kembali ke masyarakat dalam bentuk pembangunan dan pelayanan publik,” tegas Tasming.
Ia juga menekankan pentingnya kolaborasi antarpemerintah daerah untuk mendukung visi pembangunan provinsi secara keseluruhan.
“Komitmen ini menjadi bagian dari tanggung jawab kami sebagai pemerintah daerah untuk mendorong kemandirian fiskal dan memperkuat sistem tata kelola keuangan daerah,” pungkasnya.
